I had my son on a lounger when he was about two. and I listened to this in a lovely sunshine with him on my chest in the sunshine and he was sleeping and my life was perfect back then listening to this with him there sleeping and I nearly cried as it was perfect! I listened to this track many times in 1999. Housebound with a mortgage (home loan). No money to go out at night and socialise. The loan is long-gone, the apartment is mine and now I look back on that time as a period of personal development and growth and money discipline. Thanks for posting this track. A beautiful track and great album.
Awesome story, I was barely 10 in 1999. I was rinsing this tune when I was about 19 while touring Europe in 2009. I can still remember putting this on while sitting on the beach in Barcelona.

A mortgage really does limit you financially, but long term most often makes sense given you get equity and tax writeoffs as well as hopefully appreciation. Glad you found it worthwhile in retrospect

I remember backpacking through Sri Lanka, The Maldives and The Philippines. I was young, as free as a god damn bird, not a stress or worry in the world, I had savings, I remember laying on this unreal beach watching a spectacular sunset with a pretty girl I was traveling with and with the warm sand between my toes, she kissed me with this song and I thought I was in heaven 😊

I was 20 when I discovered this and kept listen once a year or so; I am about turning 35 next month and yeah... the memories assemblend throught this song produce a very accurete sense o time, indeed.
I like to keep the listening spaced, so it's always a delight to get it back.
I wish I had discovered this at 20 years old. I'm 40, discovered this song at 38. Kids partied to this song when it came out. I cook dinner for my kids and sip wine to it after a hard day at work. I think that shows how universal and transcendent their music is. Absolutely brilliant.
