The xlr output from the dj controller is when you don’t have a mixer you can connect directly to the speakers The inputs xlr in the mixer are just for mic signal , this inputs have a pre-amps that increase the weak mic signal , if you connect the line signal (dj controller ) sooner o later the pre- amps in the mixer will no longer will work as they should Sorry , i forgot i made the explanation in Spanish
@@DjTakiriOkc XLR to 1/4” cables from the controller should be connected to 1/4” (Line Inputs) of the external mixer. XLR input channels are meant for microphones use. If you connect a controller to these XLR inputs you risk damaging the mixer preamps and the controller itself due to excessive input signal and risk of phantom power.
@@DjTakiriOkc ok cool. But next time make sure you have the proper cables before you post a video concerning how to connect a Dj controller to external mixer because you’re educating people who have no clue, therefore you don’t want to give them wrong information.
@@wilsongyimah8290 well I use those rca to 1/4” Al the time But ill make another video with complete PA sytem Remember the video is just to show where to connect the 1/4” cables Because many people connect in the wrong way Thanks for your feedback 👍
Y cuando el cobtrolador esta a 50 metros del mixer ?
Your ddj800 has XLR outputs. Why use rca to 1/4” cables? It’s better to use XLR to 1/4” cables.
