Check out Vista Chino's peace. 2 Mics on drums, I think an 8 track machine, not a very experienced engineer, most satisfying recording I've heard in years.
Good video, however, when I hear people explain their subjective theories in a way that comes across as completely objective I just switch off. Saying things like a summing mixer equals a 2" tape machine and neve console or that computers are here to stay... To narrow a view. It's just boring. Sorry. Bring back Tape!
