These are some great tips! One thing that's been previously mentioned on this channel that I think is super important is patience, especially as a lone wolf. Hunting a calf can be very difficult, especially for new players who don't yet have a mate. If you're not careful, a mother elk can deal a lot of damage. However, I think the reason for this is due to rushing. It's best to circle your prey, and constantly be on the look out for the mother. If you wait for the best moments to strike and where you'll give the most damage and take less damage, you'll notice a well planned elk calf hunt can keep you at almost full health, whereas a cow, spike or bull elk hunt can leave you with health anywhere from a quarter to almost no health. This applies to mule deer fawn and moose calves too, but be more aware during moose hunts, as the mother is very fast and deals a lot of damage. Remember that patience is key to hunting, and if a hunt isn't going well, abandon it. It's best to know when to stop a hunt or you risk your life.
Most find hunting the mother way easier than hunting her calf. Which means that something is seriously wrong with the calf hunting. Maybe mothers should have varied vigilance instead of always kamikaze a wolf that attacks her calf. Because honestly.... hunting the calf should be easier than hunting an adult.
@@NLance it honestly depends. With a stronger, slower wolf, on a lower difficulty setting it probably is easier to hunt the adults. If you have low strength but a lot of speed it's easier to go for the calves. Or if your on accurate, then hunting an adult could easily kill you, but hunting a calf is fine as long as your careful
@@mysticwolfdog9553 My main problem with hunting calves always had been with the knockback they give after you bite them and let them go yourself. They will stun your wolf, giving the mom the opportunity to get some free hits in. If the knockback would not exist, hunting calves would be easier than hunting adults, no matter the stats. Because hunting calves being easier than adults should not depend on stats. They should be easier no matter the stats or difficulty.
How i hunt: I bite a calf, when the mother comes, i attack and kill her instead. After i’ve killed her, i find the calf again and kill it because it’s much easier when the mother’s not around.

I feel it should be guaranteed that your pup is safe but the pup has a chance of leaving the safety without you saying so, but the idea is yours to tweak! I agree, but if you didn't know this is a Rp game. (RP means role playing) and it's common for young animals to go out of there hiding area. So I see where your coming from... But it's normal to do that. Why rune it?
@@hunterwilliams5061 Yes, but you lose a fair bit of health killing the mother. Plus, it's more food for you to protect, unless you leave it for bears or cougars. I just find it easier to use the tactics stated in this video.
Thank you to the team for making it far harder to hunt than the original game (While difficult, it's immersive!), and for Jay to make this video where the team uploaded it! I sadly don't think I would have seen it otherwise, and as someone who plays on realistic, I actually thought hunting elk was too hard personally. (I know I could change the difficulty level, but I wanted to always try my best on realism. I'd rather lose a hunt than make it easier on myself.) I know realistically, it can't be that hard since wolves mainly hunt elk, but considering I don't like too much risk, I'd always go after deer's. I felt kinda bad being a wolf who could hardly hunt elk, and I have more faith in hunting them down now since I go everywhere with my mate which is a walking, loving advantage. Once again, thank you so much. You mentioned a few things I didn't notice before like damage markers, time of day to hunt, and hunger giving you a stamina buff! I'll defiantly use this and see if it helps out my gameplay.
that's it! i'm getting the game! i loved the game from the beginning in 2.5 but as i have grown i have settled on just having the 2.7 version on my phone and not bother on a 'laggy glitchy early access'. i was so wrong. All these videos have motivated me to buy both games on my advanced laptop! thank you lobo loco team! You MADE and will keep on making my childhood
A great tactic is to look at the elk herd closely and whichever elk runs first or is the fastest one running is likely one with low health. I use this tactic and it works great every time 😁 love the game!!
Man. Looking back at what this game was like two years ago is so nostalgic. I think the whole elk stumbling thing will balance out the injury system really nicely. I haven’t had the chance to play for a while but I’m getting back at it today and I am super excited >:)
I want to thank JayPlays and the WolfQuest team for this video! My first attempt at making a kill on an elk calf in accurate mode had been unsuccessful, and I had to abandon it. I had been going in at all the wrong times, not to mention I was in a cluttered forest. After combing through this video and really listening to what JayPlays had to say, I tried again after getting my health full and my hunger at about 50%. I can happily say that I took down my first elk calf in accurate mode! I had always hesitated to play this mode, but this video in particular gave me determination. I can easily say that if it weren't for this video, I would still be sniffing for rabbits. Thanks so much! :3
I know this is an old video but I just thought it'd be fun to share my personal hunting strategy. While it gleans a lot from this video, one thing I'd really like the hammer home is the testing of the elk's health. Some elk, even though you've got the herd running, will immediately whirl around on you if you get close enough without you even needing to bite it. Those tend to be ones incredibly low on health. Some herds may even have multiple of these elk- typically cows, though I've found the occasional spike as well. These could prove as one of the easiest and quickest meals if you're low on health and wakefulness and thus stamina. When rushing them, run past and let them swing down and then quickly run back to snag the neck- it's one of the most sure-fire ways to ensure getting that prized neck bite while taking the least amount of damage.
That is so cool! Elk behavior actually varies, like in real life! You guys are actually amazing. This game has been out for ages and you've done this absolutely incredible overhaul!
i learned that if you are chasing an elk downhill and you need to gain on it, you can simply jump so that you literally fly though the air and land next to your prey 😂
I found that dashing in between the calf and the mother is a very effective way to get the calf to run away again, making it much easier to deal more damage to it, and avoiding the mother easier too.
Woah Jay that’s so awesome you got to be in one of their videos! I’ve been subbed to your channel for a while and I’m glad you got to appear in a Wolf Quest video! 😄
I actually do have a tactic if you do attack animals and hold onto them you tend to take less damage if you let go of them by the fourth damage indicator, you could get kicked by whatever you’re pursuing if you hold on too long
Thank you so much! I suck at hunting so this was very helpful! I have an idea for the pups! It would be so cool if there were a couple ways you could communicate to your pups and they would listen and follow that command. Like some sort of bark or something that says “Go hide!” And then the pups would go find a bush or tall grass to hide in, and if there’s no where to hide they could just lay low to the ground! And another communication could be “come here”. I’m sure there’s many other communications but those are just two I could think of. Of course it’d be even more realistic if they didn’t always listen so that would be really cool! Please consider 😁
the elk chase music is (in my opinion) the best music in the game. it really makes the chase more exiting and makes me feel like a real wolf hunting. it makes me happy listening to the music as it's got a way of making you feel excitement and proudness before the big showdown go's all out on making feel like you have successfully chased your prey into a corner with your power.
I have a mate that has a... Different way of hunting calves/fawns, he will hold on to the mother so she cant attack me when i attack the calf/fawn. Its honestly really helpful
you never said this if you hunt an Adult elk you can attack it until low on stamina or health and you can just stop and wait for both to regen a bit and use the sent mode and follow your preys tracks (this is easier if you separate it from the herd) I also believe that sitting gains stamina faster.
The way I hunt is most of the time I try to hunt the weak or the old. And if the elk head is not scared and don't run I try to test them by growling or biting then run away or act like I'm going to bite but I'm not. And then I try to bite the neck or the belly. I don't really hunt the babies. What I do to to not get kicked is I run in a circle and try to bite before it turns around. (I'm 13 years old.)
This is so helpful! I’m getting wolfquest tomorrow and I can’t wait to hunt! Especially for my pups! Hopefully I don’t have too much pups since I’m only starting but if I do get a lot, I’ll probs end up with 2 or 3 in the end. But this hunting tip is really helpful! Thank you!
We are remaking the whole game! If you own WolfQuest 2.7, it is a free update for you. We have released the first episode of WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, Amethyst Mountain, for PC/Mac on Steam and itch.io, as Early Access. While in Early Access, we will be updating the game frequently with more features, multiplayer, and ultimately the Slough Creek episode with pups. The mobile version will come after the game is completed on PC/Mac platforms. We’ll then resume development of the next episode, Tower Fall (DLC).
This helped so much, even when finding elk. When I first started playing Wolfquest 3 it took me ages to find a second herd! I could never smell any elk, I could only smell lots of mule deer and some dispersals. But it was worth it finding an elk herd which already had some dispersals chasing it! And one became my mate. Stardust X Copper
So in multiplayer, u need: 1 distractor (one who distracts the mother) 2 flanks And 1 that slows the calf down. (By biting it's hind legs) I mean that makes sense to me. I am very hyped for multiplayer and all. Can't wait for it!🥰
it's so difficult to reach outerflank during a chase in the original wolfquest, and there are no calves. thank you for these tips and tricks, i might change to anniversary edition once i'm satisfied with the original game or get enough achievements.
if a herd of elk go into an enemy pack territory, you can steer the elk by moving in the direction you want them to go in, such as if you want the elk to go right then move to the right side of them and run until you're out of the territory
This video will be so helpful when I get my new laptop! It meets all the recommended specs for Windows except it will have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 for graphics (the closest I could find to 1060 at an affordable price for me). Can't wait to finally try out the game and hunt some elk! :D
Well I have one, I attack the calf first with just one bite and then let it go until the red dot appears then I focus my attention on the cow elk to take it down first and once I do that I follow after the herd she and the calf were in and use the red dot as a guide to not lose track of the calf and then kill off it without being hit by the mother but it can be risky since the cow elk gives more damage like Jayplays said so make sure you attack cautiously to have enough health to take the calf down but remember patience is key. It proved effective to me and I have gotten much better at hunting even taking a bull elk and spike down with my mate of course since spikes are just slightly more easier at least in my opinion to take down 🤗🐺
Jay:for lone wolves it is hard to kill a adult Me:*looking at the 2 spike elk and the adult cow I have killed* (I did this in easy and found a better way, dont click to target,if you do it's hard to get the sides sometimes ,instead go ahead a little and side swipe into the elk and get the flank)
When I was on trial with a mate, I found it easy when your prey (more likely an adult) to circle around them, to find a biting spot, and to regain energy, its always vital to keep an eye on that bar, I've always lost countless prey by losing stamina
This was very helpful thanks Wolf quest and Jay plays :3 I can hunt better and this will be still helpful when episode two comes out because will need to be able to hunt properly so we are able to get food for the pups!
hello i want to share my tip of hunting a elk calf. so i hunt in lost river. if there is a hard of elk near the water run them in the water. then bite a calf elk and the mother will stand there. (it mite not work but it worked for me)
My mate Dakota likes to bite the mothers, so that i can get in to bite the calf. He usually does this with mule deer- which are faster and can rush up to you more easily.
I find chasing down a calf while it's with the herd makes everything so easy. If you stay on its heels long enough, it will veer from the herd and often the mother is somewhere else. It's made many of the kills pretty easy ^^
You can also find an exposed elk with low health by examining the ones at the back of the herd wile on the run. It's best to pull the neck or back legs when hunting elk with low health otherwise the damage could be bad. Also a way to be able to get a good hunt is not getting distracted. So it's best to take some damage on other packs territory to have a peaceful hunt without a good nip to the shoulder.
One thing I do that REALLY helps is that in order to get elk herds on the move, I pelt them. Aka, I run into them so fast they can't even touch me. DISCLAIMER: You have to have a fast wolf on ye to do this, or at least practice speed. Leafsong, my wolf, is pretty fast.
@Wolf Lover I know, right? I was shocked when I saw that my wolf was fast. I asked my dad what was wrong, so he could fix it, but he told me he couldn't fix it. Turns out this just happened. How?
Another tip, if you only find carcasses that's scavenged by bears or more dangereous competitors, just walk a little further away and sleep until they're gone. And there you have it! A free carcass without risks. It's pretty useful on Challenging or Accurate difficulty but it can also help on Easy mode.
I love this game I wanna play it right but now my dog ozzy chewed the internet wire we have to get the wire fixed 😪😪 Happy thanksgiving 😼🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🦌🦌🦌🦌 have wonder full after Noan day night
I found that im stand off mode with mum and BB that if I get between them and the herd then back off abit (move towards the herd but face m&b) they will run to rejoin the herd that's when u go for the calfs neck or shoulder as it goes past it also means M has circle back for the B which gives U longer to bite but watch out when she comes back coz she will be mad that we tricked her 😉🐺
Happy Thanksgiving! What are you all thankful for? I think this video is very helpful to those that have a little trouble on hunting. I took down a cow moose once with my mate on Challenging once so that was cool! Anyways keep up the great work can't wait for the next video!
4:48 The easiest way to hunt a calf solo and in accurate is to back off during a stand off and let them start running to bite, like she said. It was extremely difficult to hunt calves, but now I rarely abandon hunts with this tactic.
I have a suggestion! ^^ I'm not sure if this is already implemented in the game (because I don't have it yet) but when your character is at low heath from fighting maybe your character would walk slower and limp? Maybe other animals could also find it easier because the scent is more stagnant from the slower pace and animals would be more likely to attack because the character would appear weak and not as intimidating? Idk I just thought it would be a neat idea :) Also this is by far the coolest animal game out there! Merry early Christmas!
What I found easier for me to hunt elk is by going inside the herd, if some cow elk try to attack you I grab on to see its health, sometimes elk who stands there ground may be weak (trying to give you an idea that there not hurt and are scary when sometimes there not and more vulnerable.) Or cow elk who stand there there ground also can be healthy. And have no reduce health. If your a "I like adult elk then calf" then its best to go for the weaker elk, there obviously more vulnerable.
Hey guys, I suggest also paying attention to the speed of the prey, if it slows down greatly when you hold on to it, it's weak, don't just go after the slow ones that lag behind the herd unless they're calves
Also, whatever you do, DON'T go after the healthy ones, whether it's 100 or 70 percent health, you ought to stay on the look for weakest out of the ingame groups in general.
Your health would become then equal to your prey/adversary and once you kill it, it can become extremely difficult to fend off scavengers or keep replenishing your health if you're kicked off the carcass if you fight with your prey/adversary that has good health.
I think U should guys add in the slough creek randomised pups..basically U can have 1-4 or whatever other number (If U decide to change the pup number/litter) depending on your wolves personality and Fur colouring..And let that alone U should add sicknesses for the pups If U give them Rotten food(Old carcass food) They get sick and there bound to get hungry faster then the rest of the puppies, but the sickness won't last long 1-5 minutes..(Which could be fetal if U don't give your pups fresh food) I'm also thinking of adding Tall grass pretty near the den so small predators Can hide like coyotes, foxes etc. But This feature should be added On Challenging and the rest of the modes just not Easy mode :) I think U should also add a small feature: Like glowing eyes in the night..green,red,orange depending on there mood Green:Happy, excited Orange:Wary, defensive Red:Mad,Threatening White:Curious Blue:Sad,sick Light blue:Gluten Purple:Playful Thank U for your attention wolf quest! Hopefully U like my ideas and decide to atleast add one :)
From my experience) 1. If an elk in a herd comes up to you and attack if you come too close, there is a chance they have low health (below half health) 2. You can try leading mule deer to slopes to help your wolf gain speed to catch up. Once you get close, you can jump until you get close the the prey. 3. biting at the legs can reduce the animals speed so it's easier to catch up
One tip I have is look at the herd from a distance. If all the others are standing and ones sitting down and just not getting up, this is a clue its very weak.
I love how more realistic you’ve made this game with the dispersal wolves, wolf packs, elk herds, prey, and predators but I also would like to know when it will come to mobile?
The mobile version of WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition is going to take awhile. The mobile version will come after the game is completed on PC/Mac platforms. There is no projected release date. Follow our progress here or on other social media, as you like.
I really hope that you can figure out how to improve the experience for all of us who must runt the game at the lowest setting tho. The enviorment is just so depressing, with a flat ground with some trees compared to the highest. It's so stunning and Beautiful that it does not even feel like we are playing the same game. If I'm going to be honest, I rather watch these videos than playing it myself :( Keep up the good work, you've made it fantastic.
We are doing our best, but some older/low-end devices will not be powerful enough to run the game. We will keep WolfQuest 2.7 available so you can still play WolfQuest.
So, I wasnt notified... Then, I tapped so fast and hard on my phone, the battery falls out. (I have no back to my phone, since it broke, in half) Then it decides to notify me when I got my phone to turn back on. * inhale * *Notifications work so well* (Oh also... ...Happy Thanksgiving!)
I’m a day late so that makes me sad. The game is so realistic! The strategies and behaviors of the animals are so amazing and believable as you really are a wolf! I love this game to death and it’s not even close to finishing probably, this will always be my favorite game.
MORE TIPS: By going around the elk's sides, sometimes it turns away from you, this is helpful if you want to get out of pack territories. Unless you have a negitave strength, i usually go for the mother of elk calfs, basically i bite a calf and see what elk comes for it first. Elk in early-fall are located in northwest highlands.
Even in the old version I prefered to chase them off and wait until they want to reunite with the herd! It made things much easier and allowed me to take a moment to rebuild stamina, so I prefered that more than anything else to be honest. ^^ I hope we can get a function that allows us to spot the attacked animal easier tho. I asume it would do to have a 'remember scent' kinda function but a visually injured elk/calf would be my top choice since that would make things more interesting in terms of scouting out instead of chomping each elk again to see which has the lowest health. But I'm not sure how hard it would be to edit the models that way. Maybe having them limb severely or such if we bite their legs would be enough already, as a middleground? Just an idea, but I'm not sure how much work in terms of coding that would be.
I search out a calf elk and kill it don’t look for the health at all it works pretty well and I lunge in don’t wait for a good timing but I wouldn’t do it if I were you
Woohoo, it's up! This was a blast to work on and I'm so grateful to have had the chance to come back and work with WolfQuest again! Hopefully some of these tips and tricks are helpful for y'all and your own hunting endeavors! :D Huge thank you to the team for inviting me back for another video-- and on that note, happy Thanksgiving y'all!

@@hunterwilliams5061 Yes, but you lose a fair bit of health killing the mother. Plus, it's more food for you to protect, unless you leave it for bears or cougars. I just find it easier to use the tactics stated in this video.
Cant wait for pups and multiplayer though I'm sure my laptop will lag on multiplayer xD
That’s why I’m saving up for a separate gaming laptop. Putting away 10 dollars every pay check
Thank! You!! This helped so much! I was kinda having troubles with hunting. You helped! Thank you!!
that's it! i'm getting the game! i loved the game from the beginning in 2.5 but as i have grown i have settled on just having the 2.7 version on my phone and not bother on a 'laggy glitchy early access'. i was so wrong. All these videos have motivated me to buy both games on my advanced laptop! thank you lobo loco team! You MADE and will keep on making my childhood
A great tactic is to look at the elk herd closely and whichever elk runs first or is the fastest one running is likely one with low health. I use this tactic and it works great every time 😁 love the game!!
thats with wolf quest 2.7
Thanks for tips for the future! Im loving how this is turning out, and am patiently and gladly waiting for the mobile version! I can't wait!
I actually do have a tactic if you do attack animals and hold onto them you tend to take less damage if you let go of them by the fourth damage indicator, you could get kicked by whatever you’re pursuing if you hold on too long
I love this game so much. Been playing since the beginning, loving the anniversary edition.
One time i was hunting an elk calf and when i reached the final showdown, the mother booked it and left me to kill the calf
Oh dear. Well, maybe she was spooked by something you didn't see.
Thanks! This helped me a lot, and when I’m super bored, this game is the first thing that comes to my mind! :D
Thanks wolfquest!(and Jay) I was struggling with my first elk hunt! This will help!
the elk chase music is (in my opinion) the best music in the game.
it really makes the chase more exiting and makes me feel like a real wolf hunting. it makes me happy listening to the music as it's got a way of making you feel excitement and proudness before the big showdown go's all out on making feel like you have successfully chased your prey into a corner with your power.
Same! im so sad it aint on spotify or i the only thing id ever play would be that music
I have a mate that has a... Different way of hunting calves/fawns, he will hold on to the mother so she cant attack me when i attack the calf/fawn. Its honestly really helpful
Ty! This is very helpful ^^
Great job!
Also, HAPPY THANKS GIVING YALL!
OMG YES FINALLY A NEW VIDEO! *this is my reaction before the video*
Woohoo!!! yet another video that is still prevalent in this game D thanks very much for this :D
you never said this if you hunt an Adult elk you can attack it until low on stamina or health and you can just stop and wait for both to regen a bit and use the sent mode and follow your preys tracks (this is easier if you separate it from the herd) I also believe that sitting gains stamina faster.
Sometimes, I hunt a mother elk, heal up, track down the herd, then hunt its calf, that way, the calf has no protection.
I love this video so much. I am so ready for slough creek
:D
The way I hunt is most of the time I try to hunt the weak or the old. And if the elk head is not scared and don't run I try to test them by growling or biting then run away or act like I'm going to bite but I'm not. And then I try to bite the neck or the belly. I don't really hunt the babies. What I do to to not get kicked is I run in a circle and try to bite before it turns around. (I'm 13 years old.)
Just found this game. Got my first pups.. but maintaining a territory and food is So hard!! Thanks for the tips!
I finally got a gaming pc and I am able to play WQ3. It's so much fun and I am excited for more updates :)
Yay! So glad you are enjoying it.
Thank you!
I haven’t heard of this game in years! This game brings me nostalgia...
Nice!
So in multiplayer, u need:
1 distractor (one who distracts the mother)
2 flanks
And 1 that slows the calf down. (By biting it's hind legs)
I mean that makes sense to me. I am very hyped for multiplayer and all. Can't wait for it!🥰
A stradagy I find that tends to help is going for a bull elk herd because they seem to separate easier but only do so with a mate!
it's so difficult to reach outerflank during a chase in the original wolfquest, and there are no calves. thank you for these tips and tricks, i might change to anniversary edition once i'm satisfied with the original game or get enough achievements.
if a herd of elk go into an enemy pack territory, you can steer the elk by moving in the direction you want them to go in, such as if you want the elk to go right then move to the right side of them and run until you're out of the territory
It proved effective to me and I have gotten much better at hunting even taking a bull elk and spike down with my mate of course since spikes are just slightly more easier at least in my opinion to take down 🤗🐺
Jay:for lone wolves it is hard to kill a adult
Me:*looking at the 2 spike elk and the adult cow I have killed*
(I did this in easy and found a better way, dont click to target,if you do it's hard to get the sides sometimes ,instead go ahead a little and side swipe into the elk and get the flank)
Me: *joins a multi-player server*
Everyone: *never hunts*
When I was on trial with a mate, I found it easy when your prey (more likely an adult) to circle around them, to find a biting spot, and to regain energy, its always vital to keep an eye on that bar, I've always lost countless prey by losing stamina
This was very helpful thanks Wolf quest and Jay plays :3 I can hunt better and this will be still helpful when episode two comes out because will need to be able to hunt properly so we are able to get food for the pups!
I'd love to see another video like this, but discussing tips on how to hunt mule deer and moose! 😁
Didn't know the hunger level had an effect on stamina, interesting/good to know
hello i want to share my tip of hunting a elk calf. so i hunt in lost river. if there is a hard of elk near the water run them in the water. then bite a calf elk and the mother will stand there.
I've noticed that if I stay out of sight, and downwind, the elk often get spooked before I get even remotely close to them.
DISCLAIMER:
You have to have a fast wolf on ye to do this, or at least practice speed. Leafsong, my wolf, is pretty fast.
@Wolf Lover I know, right? I was shocked when I saw that my wolf was fast. I asked my dad what was wrong, so he could fix it, but he told me he couldn't fix it. Turns out this just happened. How?
@Wolf Lover Well... I kinda wanna... keep my bugged wolf
@Wolf Lover Okay, but first, I need this to GO VIRAL.
I cant wait till wolfquest 3 will come out on phones :))
I usually go for the elk that stop to fight, no need to bite
unless its summer, you can forget about finding a weak elk
Another tip, if you only find carcasses that's scavenged by bears or more dangereous competitors, just walk a little further away and sleep until they're gone. And there you have it! A free carcass without risks. It's pretty useful on Challenging or Accurate difficulty but it can also help on Easy mode.
I love this game I wanna play it right but now my dog ozzy chewed the internet wire we have to get the wire fixed 😪😪 Happy thanksgiving 😼🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🦌🦌🦌🦌 have wonder full after Noan day night
the internet wire? doesn't that mean you can't use youtube? IM SORRY IF I'M WRONG PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM :)

Emily plays games Stuwe how can you use UA-cam then?😂
Wolf Lover ?
Jacqueline Murray for my moneter its the one for that I’m on phone and today we got it back 😀😃😄😁😆🐺🐺🐺🐺🦌🦌🦌
I found that im stand off mode with mum and BB that if I get between them and the herd then back off abit (move towards the herd but face m&b) they will run to rejoin the herd that's when u go for the calfs neck or shoulder as it goes past it also means M has circle back for the B which gives U longer to bite but watch out when she comes back coz she will be mad that we tricked her 😉🐺
Happy Thanksgiving!
I always hunt in accurate mode and Im sucessful almost 90% of the time (with calves). It took some big practice but its worth it.
Man, i am so exited for the mobile version to come out, same for the full PC version!
Idk I just thought it would be a neat idea :)
Also this is by far the coolest animal game out there! Merry early Christmas!
Thanks! Things like limps require a lot of extra animations etc. but it would be cool.
@@WolfQuestGame Okay ^^ 🖒
But This feature should be added On Challenging and the rest of the modes just not Easy mode :)
I think U should also add a small feature: Like glowing eyes in the night..green,red,orange depending on there mood
Green:Happy, excited
Orange:Wary,defensive
Red:Mad,Threatening
White:Curious
Blue:Sad,sick
Light blue:Gluten
Purple:Playful
Thank U for your attention wolf quest! Hopefully U like my ideas and decide to atleast add one :)
Pup litter sizes will be randomized and they will have personalities!
Wow great video love it thanks for the tips
I really hope that you can figure out how to improve the experience for all of us who must runt the game at the lowest setting tho. The enviorment is just so depressing, with a flat ground with some trees compared to the highest. It's so stunning and Beautiful that it does not even feel like we are playing the same game. If I'm going to be honest, I rather watch these videos than playing it myself :(
Keep up the good work, you've made it fantastic.
We are doing our best, but some older/low-end devices will not be powerful enough to run the game. We will keep WolfQuest 2.7 available so you can still play WolfQuest.

I’m a day late so that makes me sad. The game is so realistic! The strategies and behaviors of the animals are so amazing and believable as you really are a wolf! I love this game to death and it’s not even close to finishing probably, this will always be my favorite game.
Me hunting be like...
Goes to a random elk, attack it directly lol no tactics
I do know that I’m late BUT hunt from the side. Helps sm
Thanks for the helpful tips! ;)
MORE TIPS:
By going around the elk's sides, sometimes it turns away from you, this is helpful if you want to get out of pack territories.
I hope we can get a function that allows us to spot the attacked animal easier tho.
I search out a calf elk and kill it don’t look for the health at all it works pretty well and I lunge in don’t wait for a good timing but I wouldn’t do it if I were you
I love this game and I love JayPlays !

Awesome! Can't wait to try some of these! *TO MY COMPUTER*
I usually try to separate my target away from the herd, so I don't get trampled so easily. Works sometimes better than others lol
