I gotta side with Jon and Tom here. Going back and messing with a bunch of lowly register biscuits would only be justified if the failure to recognize that it was the same place was somehow their fault. To paraphrase Alucard's mom: "Do not hate wage slaves. If you cannot aid them then at least give them no undue shit, for theirs is already a hard lot."
I agree! XD I wonder if these guys in that Tim Hortons thought Tom was high or something when he came back in the second time around besides just getting lost used to his GPS and also going the wrong way.
I think I remember that story, he had repeated dreams about going to a really nice restaurant, and then one day he decided he would like to get something from there, only to realize that the place he was thinking of didn't exist.
Yup, it was a pastry shop he dreamed about several times where you could make your own pastry; kind of like Subway but with pastries, only to realize it didn't exist as he was gonna visit it.
If I remember correctly, Emile figured out it wasn't real when he realized that all of the streets leading to it were from different parts of the country he grew up
Dumbest thing I did at a Tim Horton’s: Being scared out of the restaurant by a balloon popping game because I hate anything that goes bang. Didn’t even wait in line to order something. As soon as I realized what was going on- Zoom! Outta there before a balloon popped!
To be fair I assume one reason Tom was like this has gotta go to being a new dad and the fact he also must have been exhausted too like his wife Steph was. Plus it took him 3 days to realize what the heck happened
My friend did something similar once. A few of us went out to a restaurant and getting back to our houses involved making a left at a 4-way stop. We get to the light and it's green so he just cruises through. Suddenly he makes another left into the parking lot, another left heading back the way we came, then a third left onto the street we just turned off of. We ask he what he's doing and as he pulls to a stop for the now red light he says "I'm taking a shortcut so we don't have to sit at the light." We stared for a few seconds before pointing out that we had already gone through it and his "shortcut" involved going through it twice. He didn't have a response. And the scary part was he was the designated driver and the rest of us were buzzed at least.
No kidding. Tom even admitted that others he told the story to had laughed as much as Jon and the others did when he was spinning it! I can only imagine how Tom's wife Steph felt about hearing this when she realized he was confused, plus there's imagining what the people behind the counter at Tim's thought!
Also, Booda with his suggestion Tom having to go back a third time, even if Jon and Tom were right that it wasn't the same as doing it accidentally. XD
Honestly, there are probably dumber mistakes someone could make. If someone's tired and driving at night, then they might make a mistake like that. The employees probably should've said something, though.
When I heard this story too, I thought the same thing. X-D I can only imagine Steph when she had helped Tom realize that he'd went t o the same Tim Hortons, even if it took him 3 days to figure that out!
Yuki, you made a slight error in the video title. Due to an idiosyncrasy of Canadian law, the chain's name is just Tim Hortons, as in there's no apostrophe.
Tom: This story is dumber than Emile’s stories
Me: *Doubt*
Tom: tells story
Me: *Truth*
But I just love how Jon and the others laughed their asses off about Tom's story. XD

I might be remembering this wrong, but didn't Emile think there was a restaurant that existed for a while that he just made up?

@@legendduokeeper4373 Both the replies are exactly what I was thinking. Thanks!
@@diortememirp6204 And of course, he tells this story when playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo.

Well, there’s your problem, Tom! You blindly trusted the GPS to take you to a whole other Tim Horton’s!
8:30pm and Tim Hortons is out of donuts... That's how you know this is a true story.
Evil? Probably. Genius? NOOOOO.
Now I’m imagining anyone can fool Tom into thinking a particular location is a totally different one by spinning him in a circle.
To be fair I assume one reason Tom was like this has gotta go to being a new dad and the fact he also must have been exhausted too like his wife

The amount of sheer "Are you freakin' serious?" in this anecdote is off the charts.

I thought that it was Tom Fawks
Same.
Jon knows so many guys named Tom for some reason.
I picked the worst time to step away when he told this story live. Oh my god this is incredibly hilarious.
Emile may be dumb but i love him for it
Someone, please animate this!
And I just time stamped this in the Vod on Jon's channel.
3:19 The answer is nighttime. TRUST ME. I KNOW.

Ok I am also a new father and let me tell ya when you haven’t gotten a full nights sleep in like 4 weeks ya get a little disoriented not gonna lie
Tom... I think you had brain constapation that week
That is by far the funniest thing I’ve seen today.
Tom Horton's, surely?
This story made my day, holy crap!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly, there are probably dumber mistakes someone could make. If someone's tired and driving at night, then they might make a mistake like that. The employees probably should've said something, though.
I dunno, letting him figure it out himself sounds like a funnier thing to do instead, even for the employees
Tom's certainly come a long way since turning communist because he lost a game of Monopoly.
Wrong Tom there, pal. This is Tom “Heisanevilgenius” White. You’re thinking Tom “Fawkes” O’Grady.
I mean, Monopoly *_is_* pretty good at showing people how broken of a system capitalism is...
@@Rexaura888 Watch part 4 of Jon's Double Dragon 2 LP for context of my post
@@MxPokirby That was the original point of Monopoly so I guess it does its job.
Sounds like me getting confused about Quna. Ended up they're both the same and I was too dumb to notice.
Past me, how?
...Tom. TOM. WTF? XD
When I heard this story too, I thought the same thing. X-D I can only imagine Steph when she had helped Tom realize that he'd went t o the same Tim Hortons, even if it took him 3 days to figure that out!
Not Tom Fawkes.
Haha 🤣 he went to Tim Hortons about 2 times and didn't notice for 3 days
Nothing like goin to Timmy's for coffee and donuts
3 words. Large, double, double.
tim hortons!! im there rn
Yuki, you made a slight error in the video title. Due to an idiosyncrasy of Canadian law, the chain's name is just Tim Hortons, as in there's no apostrophe.
I forgot they were Canadians....
When did Tom Fawkes move to Canada?
I didn’t know Tom is a father
Not Tom Fawkes.
I should have known because that wasn’t his voice
Okay, that was really good XD
I just wanna bring up, this man has a wife and child. Let me reiterate, a wife AND CHILD. THIS MAN HAS A BABY.
Maybe Tom was feeling some stress from having a kid like how he wanted to get his wife Steph a donut. XD
