The SRT10 is the clear winner of this video. I consider it to be the grandfather of the TRX. There's no TRX without the SRT10! I also believe Regular Car Reviews are doing a giveaway of an SRT10... but you only win if you're on the east coast haha!
That SRT-10 is almost mint! I'd be willing to bet it goes for all the money. They're hard to find in that condition. Tasteful customization in the engine bay too (nod to the Viper) You could do a lot worse and it'd be hard to find a better one. Go for it! ⛽🇺🇲🏁
The wheel spinner is to avoid tearing the top of the wheel. It is indeed mostly found in older folks vehicles because they actually like taking care of their vehicles and keep them in the shape that they should be in. Owner was probably in his/her 50s.
They call them Suicide knobs. Big rig truckers used them to make turning the larger steering wheels easier. They have done away with them as some states have made them illegal because imagine hitting your head on that in an accident.

I agree with the CLA. Worked on a couple of those, they get traded in often at the dealership work at and hated them. I think the only luxury car maker that made a good “affordable” model was BMW with the 2 series coupe. I actually find it better than their more expensive cars because it felt more of a drivers car and still felt like a proper BMW.

Back in the day slot of the cars did not have power steering so they had those knobs on the steering wheel to turn the wheel easier .my grandpa had one on his 1957 Oldsmobile 3duces 3 on the tree standard it was quick for a tank.

When I started driving in the very early 60's they were considered a necessity. We called then "neckers knobs" because you had one hand on the wheel and the other hand around your girlfriend if she would let you. Illegal of course because the law required you to have two hands on the steering wheel and the police dished out a $25 fine if they saw it. Whether you were behind the wheel or not. No power steering on the cars we drove in those days so the steering wheel was big. Dad's would go out to your car with you and your date to make sure you didn't have on on the steering wheel. If you did you never went out with his daughter. The secret was wing nuts to hold it on. Easy on and easy off.

Well in my case I’m disabled I can’t use my left hand and needing to shift and steer the turn assist is a big help
