This video deserves so much more widespread attention.
This advice could help so many people. I’ve had the idea of who I want to be but had no way to route the way but watching this gave me the questions to build the foundation.
I think it’s a 2 watch thing to absorb every aspect of self you touch on and journal these things.
You hit home with the comment on saying yes and no. I keep tricking myself into the thought that I am making the decision the own my own destiny. I am working a really good 9-5 job. It pays so well. And I say I’m going to leave it. But I am not deciding to go out on my own one day because I keep deciding the job is there until something else happens. I’m tricking myself. I need to pick a direction to say yes to my own destiny and make plans accordingly to where I know the job no longer will be necessary.

Sometimes a man is unable to follow his self-direction. I wanted to be an accountant, but couldn't get a job from the campus interviews. I bounced around from one shite job to the next. Then the field became 60% female, which meant open discrimination against men. I was forced to retrain to be a truck driver

How big of a role could a toxic/narcissistic partner play into being stuck in stagnation/contraction? Tx.. appreciate your channel;) ps.. I'm all into owning my side of responsibility.. but you also mentioned that we can get pressed into a zone we don't really want.. tx again

@@ManTalks I've had 20 years, pandemic really woke me up, did major introspection and TG clarity of my situation keeps building each day.. and knowing all that, i find it so hard to follow through in an environment 9f toxic bombardment.. i was once a very confident man but years 9f rejection physically and emotionally has worn me down
