    Hello Chris. Had a Grande time talking to you and your wife at the show. Also enjoyed the clinic you gave on Painting Backdrops and for giving me a chance to paint green field grass. Also had a great time talking to Bill Scobie regarding his Distruction of Butterfly and the follow up videos. Thanks for coming to the convention. Have a good day. Ray

      Hi Ray. It was a pleasure meeting you and enjoying all the Narrow Gauge Excitement Maine had to offer. Hope to see you again. Glad you enjoyed painting.

    I never built a train layout, but my passion was building structures true to scale with scale materials and accurate drawings - not from kits. All of it went away when I joined the Army in 1970 and I never got back into it. I love this video.

    Very nice, I would love to add sound to both my Bachman 80 ton 3 truck shay, and my Rivarossi Heisler

    • @CNLVN
      @CNLVN  4 роки тому

      I have the factory sound in my shay. The board is in the tender with the speaker and all the wires are black. I was considering an ESU replacement but fitting it in would be quite the job. Mine was HO

    all them structures put together would make a nice layout

    • @CNLVN
      @CNLVN  7 років тому

      Yes indeed but you would need a great number of fine scale builders and cash to do it.

    It would be helpful to the curious if EACH model/diorama shown were IDENTIFIED either by a view of its label OR a note on the video noting the Name of model, Name of builder, Scale, etc.. Enjoyed the video, otherwise.

    Beautiful I'm sure, but I can't see much of it, too far away, camera moves too fast. Tanks.

    Not sure what all the "Marine and Nautical" Models have to do with Model railroading ? Looks Awesome , BUT why are they included in a Model TRAIN Show ??

    • @CNLVN
      @CNLVN  2 роки тому

      The waterside scenes allows for vertical elevation potential and the creation of foreground that does not interfere with operations. Also many narrow gauge and standard gauge railways connect industry to shipping and visa versa.
