Magician.. he has the most impressive and beautifully skilled bag.. His game is so refined and perfected, it’s like he doesn’t have to think or rehearse anything, he just always has an answer to any situation.. crazy! i’ve been saying this since his first season on the Cavs.. he’s different!
There’s like $40,000,000 worth of defense on this guy in every clip. And he slips through like they’re all in slow motion or something. Totally unreal.
Other people have been highly skilled AND highly athletic (e.g MJ, LeBron, Kobe), but this guy isn't doing anything physically spectacular. Just pure body control, footwork, angles, misdirects, counters, and English off the glass. I mean he's above average athletically, but this is the absolute highest level of offensive basketball skill.
Nothing Spectacular? How many 6’2” players do you see doing this? I’ll wait.

@@ryanriley2434 I said he's not doing anything PHYSICALLY spectacular. he's quick, but not D'Aaron Fox quick, or with Ja Morant hops. So what he's doing is mostly pure skill, which is even MORE impressive than those guys, who are just using their gifts.

The way Kyrie handles the ball is on a goat level. He’s literally unstoppable under the rim, best finisher ever.

At some point a commentator said "Irving is one of the best finishing guards currently in the league. What was he thinking? Kyrie has been the best finisher in the league since he came into the NBA and you could argue the best of all time. The only layups he didn't do are: ua-cam.com/video/aF6VnP6HMDw/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/qWKr-NZ7KFU/v-deo.html . And of course he's the best ball-handler of all time. To me, .Kyrie is one of the 5 players who elevate(d) basketball to an art form alongside Magic (with his passing ability), MJ, Kobe and Steph.
Magic would be the first to tell you bird was a better passer and all around player than himself. In fact every hall of famer who played against bird says he was god tier. But those two going at it was the finest artwork the nba had ever seen up until MJ took over.
@@TheTknow1 I never said Magic was more complete. Larryt's shooti,g ability was almost second to none which made him unguardable untill his body gave up on him. Magic rightlfuly so respects him so much that it's highrly likrbale that Magic would call Bird the better passer. But to me Magic is a (slightly) better passer.

I just watched a Jamal Crawford highlight video and compared it to this and I've come to the conclusion that Crawford is by far the more talented ball-handler. kyrie is so overrated in that aspect.
