This is some stellar work on NES. I mean, seriously, other than the lack of lots of parallax, I think this could pass for an early PC Engine and even Genesis game. Very nice indeed.
The comparison with the Genesis/Mega Drive is a bit too much. The lack of parallax and colours is pretty evident, with the exception of the 3rd City that looks very Genesis in my opinion.

同時期のゲームハードの中では高額なPC88を除いて、一番スペックが高くて一番値段が安かったハードだったそうですね。

一列に表示できるスプライト数制限回避の為に、オーバーした分は高速で交互に表示させるという一種のテクニックですね。
当時のFCソフトでは良く見かける挙動で、ロックマンシリーズやシューティングゲームは頻繁に起こっていた挙動です

1面はR-TYPE＋暴れん坊天狗な感じ？ 描き込まれた背景や4重スクロールがスゴイ、敵弾が速くて難しそう。BGMが印象に残らなかった。エンディングが時代とは言えオジサンにはついていけません。超兄貴はギャグになってるからいいけどね。
