10:39 This was like watching an action movie in bug form! Every single insect had its own superpower - from venom that blinds, to jaws that snap with robot-like precision, to beetles that literally flip their enemies off branches. It’s easy to overlook how complex and powerful insects really are, especially since we usually just think of them as “bugs.” But this video gave them the spotlight they deserve. I feel like I’ll never look at a beetle or ant the same way again. Thank you for showcasing their strength, skill, and survival tactics-it was equal parts educational and thrilling. Does anyone else suddenly feel bad for underestimating praying mantises’ enemies?
2:49 how the hell do we know what a light saber feels like😂
they say being stabbed is extremely painful, just imagine the amplification of the blade being recently taken out of a forge and is as hot as molten lava too, incinerating your nerves as well as severing them. sounds dreadful, but that's likely what the closest example of a "lightsaber" wound could feel like given in star wars universe the blade instantly cauterizes wounds.
but yeah... hard to say if it hurts THAT much, regardless it sounds like the type of pain you'd be pissed off to hear someone nearby downplaying it by saying something else feels worse, thats for certain.
not to be the unpopular guy at parties but you know when i think about it, the string might even hurt worse overall and be more of an agonizing experience; a molten-hot hyper-sharp blade is destructive and dangerous but i think adrenaline and the fact you'll pass out from mortally fatal wounds very quickly is a fair counterpoint to a biological chemical weapon that is strictly designed to fire off pain-inducing stimulus and optimized for such a purpose, like min-maxing the suffering/agony one would experience, over as long as possible without directly making you lose consciousness etc.
but i'm losing track, basically it hurts a lot
@@ChilledoutDevil Like this guy says. Had you seen those videos of people heating up kitchen knives? Imagine being stabbed by that heat up knife but without the sensation of metal going through your body.
How dare you mock the lyricism of this gifted writer!
Yeah, everybody run through with one did not live long enough to tell us how it felt.
The giant centipede isn't an insect, or even an arachnid, it's an arthropod. Those things can f**k up a Tarantula in a split second.
True but depends on what kind of tarantula. I’ve seen one video about a centipede vs a poecilotheria and its venom took out the centipede.
Tarantula? 🤣 tarantula wont stand a chance against any centipede
@ you’d be surprised
Ummm insects are also arthropods, so are arachnids.
That doesn't mean all arthropods are insects, tho..
Rambo vs an army is such a bad comparison. Rambo is ALWAYS against an army and he's never lost. 😂

Rambo has never taken on an entire army. He may have taken on many people, police departments, and soldiers, but never an entire army. He has never faced one, and if he did, he'd be dead.
@@Think1stMedianoun: army, plural noun: armies
An organized military force equipped for fighting on land.
Reading comprehension is tough sometimes huh? There's no number on "organized military force". So for example, an army can be an organized force of 50 or 50 million, or any number in between. I never once said Rambo fought against every single member of (fill in the blank) army and won. But reading can be hard. Think first media...
@rosshixon6796 what the video implies is that Rambo would beat an actual army. A militia is what Rambo faced. But not gonna keep going back and forth.
Being attacked by a swarm of ants would end most creatures.
Nah maybe hornets
@rheapongos5552 depends on the type of ants and what their orders are. As I understand it even hornet nests can be raided from time to time
if they are small enough or lack of agility
but i dont bet too much on ants against big mamal
What about the bull ants? They should be on the list for their great eyesight! 🤔🤔
I had a small green mantis that I kept as a pet. I would hold it in my hand. It was really cool. Then one day I noticed it had changed. It had grown some, and its mandibles had turned a bluish color. I picked it up to look at it and it bit the sh*t out of my hand! I released it back into the wild!
I used to raise them in terrariums when I was younger. They are fascinating little killers!
That's strange. I've never heard of them biting people.
You don't have to put it back to the wild! They are still wonderful little things that deserve a good home. It's a dangerous world out there and they are still very susceptible.
Hornets like the cartel of the insect world 😂
You have to be in love with these hornets man...why else would you mention them twice?😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂the sound effects great dam good video
Awesome video my favorite was assassin catpiller, also you put Ginat Asian hornet twice, the Giant Japanese hornet is same species the Giant Asian hornet lives in Japan so that just 2 diffent names for same Insect.
This whole video is made by an AI, it will make mistakes but leaving in an insect 2 times just goes to show how little goes into making these kinds of videos.. He probably just told the AI 1 sentence and boom, video done while he's raking in $10-20k a month
Praying mantis is a top predator and will defeat most insects/bugs that are about the same size. That's why you will see many videos of praying mantis fighting giant spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and katydids, because they don't want the mantis to win. However, for the same size, I admit the japanese hornet might defeat the mantis, and the bombardier beetle is too small but can successfully defend itself against the mantis.
The mantis they always use in these videos are almost never healthy either...if not outright already half dead.
Many of these confrontations never happen in the wild. They are just created for this video. Mantis Rules!
Kid, mantises come in a great variety of sizes. Less than 1/2 inch to 5 inches.
I have had mantisses on my shoulders and Tshirt, I have seen Tarantulas very close and I stood along a long row of army ants. I think I am a lucky guy to have seen them.
Not really at all if you leave them alone they will leave you alone
That "TOI" got me burst of
laughter 😂
Also the bite of ants aren't the one that hurts you its their "idk"
Yk err
Since lightsabers are no longer deadly thanks to
Disney that’s a fair comparison.
I hate Kathleen Kennedy.
what? Are you Fing kidding me?
@@rm25088 yes, a character survived being stabbed in the chest because girls are invincible apparently
@@samuelbaldwin7856 man wtf. Everything is ruined nowadays. It's fucking ridiculous
No one cares but bozos like you keep whining can always tell the fake fans when they do shit like this.
I had a Frightening experience the first time I encountered a praying mantis. I was 6 years old wasn’t messing with it. I was just looking at it and I didn’t know they had wings and it was rocking back-and-forth, staring me. Then all of a sudden it leaped on my head got caught in my hair and every time I reached for it it bit me and it bites can hurt a lot which my father didn’t believe me until he got bit by one but finally I got off of my head, but I’ve been freaked out by them ever since. Thankfully, I don’t have to worry about them that much where I live because I have a lot of Bats, European hornets and pretty big spiders where I live. But one time about two years ago, I walked outside and noticed one was living in the numbers of my house. I didn’t try to get it to leave because I thought it would stop all the stink bugs from coming in, but it didn’t it Would just stand and stare at me so finally after five days I went out and from quite a different distance away And told it it had 48 hours to leave Or I was gonna come after it with a broom. 12 hours later I walked outside and it was gone. Tell me that’s not freaky that you tell the bug to get lost and understand you.
you’re lying😂😂 they don’t attack humans😂😂
Calling someone a liar that isn't one I think is worse than being a liar. Her story sounds very possible those things fly poorly so it easily could have gotten itself tangled in her hair and then fighting for its life she could easily think it was an attack. You could have said You find it hard to believe because they dont attack humans. To say someone is lying as you did here with no more to go on than what she wrote is quite irresponsible in my opinion.
@@neilfoss8406 you are also one of those liars😂😂😂😂
Mantis cam also eat all these bugs...
nah, no insect can conquer ants..
@SanzanMahmudZisanJomadar 1v1 easily a colony no
They can't become mantis will die before its tries eating
The Amazonian tribe that uses bullet ants aren't allowed to scream or they don't pass. If you're going to make these videos, do the research it requires.
"don't despair, we will try again tomorrow"
Bugs with TOXINS; oh, my!😮😮😮
I used to do insect fights when I was a kid. Jumping spiders earwigs, red harvester ants..but the king was the Jerusalem Crickets. Those had no problem eating any opponent. Good old days!
It would be interesting to see an elimination tournament, like the NCAA Basketball tournament, with seeding and see which insect will be the winner. Obviously, there are many seeding combinations, and depending on that setup, the winner may be different from one tournament to the next.
Everyone: Mantis
Him: Mannis
Yes, I gained good knowledge, great. ❤🔥
No! 😱... Not my mantis! 😱
0:57 poor guy XD
Imagine being chased by a bunch of bees
The ai thumbnail is scarier than the actual ant 💀
It looks dumb I noticed that 😅😅😅 the ant looks so deformed and even there's sharp teeth on it's jaw.
'mate into meal'is the craziest thing you can ever see.
1:06 I can’t stop laughing 😭😭😭😭
Plenty of AI mistakes in here, including listing giant hornets twice in the list.
Looks dumb I hate ai. So rushed and cheap stuff.
Gotta love how you use the Garbage Disney Ahsoka lightsaber stab as reference that didnt even do anything. The wound healed after 1 day... LMAO!
Anybody else feeling sorry for the praying mantis?
What’s with the murder hornet being on this twice. You a fanboy of them???
Likely is lol
Bro even went as far as to say that “mantids are hunters but hornets are gangsters” like what?? Doesn’t even make sense😂😂
I’m a fan of them. Especially if they kill praying mantises.
Lol
@@PerAllwin1963 these hornets are actually very damaging . They are invasive from japan and now on 6/7 continents. They destroy ecosystems and kill off hives of honey bees and have the potential to criple global agriculture..let the mantis cook plz
The praying mantis can eat any of these insects, and it does it without venom or any chemical.
Their body is tough armored?
Bees be like: well boys, that enough for us to thermoball them. Let's go supernova on ‘em.
6:35 that's a jumping jack spider Myrmecia nigrocinta from AUSTRALIA...NOT A BULLET ANT from South AMerica
never seen killer bees vs japanese hornets
5:27 This makes spiders look like butterflies.
Äh...hast du jemals Rambo gesehen?😏
Am I the only one who almost laughed at the beatle flinging the other beatle flying
You mean beetle. Unless there is a video of Paul throwing Ringo!
Praying mannes. What a beast! Even manneses fear them.
My shoes and electric racket 😂😂
My kids had an egg sac and raised a few until they got big but a green lacewing wrapped one mantis up like a mummy.my kids figured the lacewing would be easy prey for the mantis.
Tarantula hawk ONLY hunts tarantulas not mantises!
its manises thats what narator said.
I don’t think he was done with his researching😅
Surely it doesn't like you said, but he never said it does.
7:33 the caterpillar turns into a harmless moth after cocoon stage
Amazing.
The praying is a very tough bug and if it wasn't for these other insects not having poisonous toxins or being larger they would definitely lose to the praying mantis.... 🤔
Amazing documentar
his pronunciation of the word Mantis bugged me a lot throughout the video 😅
Wow 😮😊
What I find entertaining are the vegans that say we are cruel for farming animals for food. They have no concept of the cruelty in nature.
Tiger beetles going so fast they have to stop and render the rest of the map
4:59 OMG YOU JUST SAID GODZILLA! NO WAY THINK YOU THE GODZILLA OF CREEPY CRAWLYS! I’m a Godzilla fan
I had a mantis on my er... pepper plant as long as my hand ,was the largest mantis ive ever encountered, its lower body was larger than my thumb, was bright green with purple wings!
The 'killer bee' has the same barbed stinger as other honey bees. One sting then dead.
My personal favourite beetles are the Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle, the Hercules Beetle, the Stag Beetle and Caucasus Beetle. To me they are the coolest and the most unique beetles in the world.
1:34 a jaw strong enough to chew through concrete🙆♂️
Praying Mantis's are planetary.
4:52 this applies to almost any species of scolopendra.
the large mantis has little chance even against the common scolopendra cingulata
and the scolopendra Amazon Gigantea one is stronger than all insects and arachnids
and there are MANY insects that can defeat a praying mantis
if you judge it that way, a praying mantis is pretty weak in battle
its only weapons are two grasping paws and weak jaws (weaker even than a house cricket)
it is tender and fragile
I ve seen praying mantis' eat atleast one of all of these so what?😅😂😂😂😂
@nowere4569 let me guess
it was a large praying mantis versus a lithobius forficatus or some other small species?
@centipede333 nope regular size look it up beee amazed
@nowere4569 where did you see that?
and by the way, look closely at the centipede's fangs.
because i saw a video where a centipede lost to a praying mantis because the centipede's fangs were cut off and it was rendered weaponless
@nowere4569 you can even watch the fights of scolopendras and praying mantises on my channel
they are both healthy there but the scolopendra ALWAYS wins
That thumbnail... oh, man the AI fucked that up. The antannae on the ant are mismatched, the mantis has no definable head at all, the weird appendage on the left, none of it makes any sense.
Yo you forgot about the cow killer
Praying Mantises have killed centipedes as well.
Centipedes bite is not what is venomous, those are legs that sting, not fangs.
Always remember The Observer Effect when you watch nature at work...
5:46 gave me shock 😮
Not all strength is in your hands. Every creature in the world, whether human or animal or plant, has its own strengths and weaknesses.
9:22 WEEEEEEEEEE😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
coyote peterson put the giant desert centipede as the only #5
That dude is a certified clown. He was only stung by lab bugs (stingers without venom), the rest was bad acting.
WOW I've never heard of the stinging beetle 😮
Like to see a story about north Carolina USA, deadly insects
13:04 what about tungsten? can it cut through that?
15:10 They come in a range of colours from Black to Rainbow iridescent, or, “Metallic” as the Narrator puts it.
11:33 Go, Heracross!
4:34 Since when did Xenomorph (ZEN-O-MORPH) Become ZEE-NO-MORPH. XEN, 1 E, like Xenophobia and the word Zen.
Bottles with legs, lower left corner 14:48
Why is the hive onnthe mantis 😂 14:15
Tbh i think no insect can 1v1 a giant scorpion
Brother,?????
Not an insect but an arthropod, mantis shrimp
@@GbassayKanu-p3n yes?
To the narrator: it is a praying man-Tis, not a praying MENACE !!!
When I was a kid, I put a mantis in with a small garter snake. After a weekend out of town, the snake was dead and had chunks eaten from behind the head. As a teen I put a mantis in a tank with a sun spider / wind scorpion (not a spider or scorpion but something 10 legged and in between) and that thing killed the mantis faster than you could imagine. Like a lightning bolt.
I wouldn't be surprised when you get abducted by aliens..
This depends on the Mantis variety if it's a giant Asian mantis it can take down quite a lot of insects in this list but if it's a little bit smaller variety you are correct and bro bullet ants mainly travel alone including the Asian giant hornet
So... which one bug was accidentally created by scientists again!?! I missed it. 😅😅😅
8:03 "It's a slow painful death." Er no -- mantises, like all insects, can't feel pain.
All I learned from this is that it takes venom, flight, and numbers to take a mantis down.
Is a "Manis" same as a "Mantis" or a bit different? 🤔
4:13 "can eat frogs" nope, only smal frogs, my frogs have eaten giant mantises, so if its not a baby the mantis is ded
Mantis kill giant hornet most of the time ..
Nah
Interesting, How about pitting one with another in the list?
How does this guy know what getting stabbed with a lightsaber 5 minutes it feels like 😂 in what movie? What was that What star wars movie was that
I wonder if anyone has ever said i just love insects and meant it 😂
A lot of these bugs are small so the mantis can barely grasp them
You missed the Australian bull ant also known as jack jumper.
Imagine them in human size ☠️ we’re doomed.
Dude if any of insects where in human size we would be doomed, just imagine harmless ant in human size, chaotic right? 😂🤣
Poison and venom aren't the same.
If you bite it and you die, it's poisonous. If it bites you and you die, it's venomous.
8:33 tell me "evolution" made this. 🤣
Насекомые круты❤
I would be terrified if a tarantula hawk was on my hand
Unfortunately none of the insects listed can match a praying mantis except to the hornet. Specially because a mantis attack relies on surprise. The hornets are not always successful though.
Okay bullet ants scary but that guy who got a hole bucket of ants and js dug his hand in like it was a jar of candy is a real Force to be recon with
9:38 it knocked itself off the table lol
some of these video will not be so effective in killing praying mantises
for example, the tiger beetle is too small (only 1.5 cm)
well, if you meant the tiger beetle manticorа, then it wins without problems.
or the stinging beetle is also small and has very little chance of winning.
but for example, many katydids easily hunt praying mantises
I like the praying mantis
Me too
8:16 "It roasts them alive." If you think that 100°C or boiling water can roast anything, you need to take some cooking classes.
