I remember this Sunday comic well. I laughed out loud the first time I read it. It's one of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes segments. Watterson is brilliant!
My two all time favorite Calvin & Hobbes comic strips are the ones where they imagine that they are adults. ("Wonga Taa" is one and "Mr. Bun", their "rabbit baby" is the other.) I always love that "Mary Worth" style of drawing... such an awesome break from the usual C&H style. Plus, if you take a good look at "Adult Calvin", he looks a lot like Darren MacGavin, a.k.a. Dad/The Old Man from "A Christmas Story", as well as my old school favorite, "Kolchack: The Night Stalker".

I, too, picture jungle music accompanying Wongaa-Taa removing his suit and swinging away on a vine!

This is by far my favourite Calvin and Hobbes strip. This is also my mum's favourite Calvin and Hobbes strip as well.
Classic ep, loved it. I wonder if there's one of the one where he sings On top of spaghetti and gets thrown out of the house!
Goodness
I never seen this comic strip before but it is hilarious XD
Please do more
It's from Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat comic book.
Now as a grown up I can understand Calvin's mothers concern about "Calvin left his clothes with susie."
Thankfully not ALL of his clothes...
I remember this comic from the Sunday it premiered and it's where I learned "it takes one to know one".
Who'd want to play house where the other person gets to be the president and you're a glorified maid?
I like all yours video
Thanks!
Tarzan would LOVE this
But he's not real, but okay.

My Tiger Friend has got the sled,
And I have packed a snack.
We're all set for the trip ahead.
We're never coming back!
We're abandoning this life
we've led!
So long, Mom and Pop!
We're sick of doing
what you've said,
And now it's going to stop!
We're going where it snows all year,
Where life can have real meaning.
A place where we won't have to hear,
"Your room could stand some cleaning."
The Yukon is the place for us!
That's where we want to live.
Up there we'll get to yell and cuss,
And act real primitive.
We'll never have to go to school,
Forced into submission,
By some monstrous crabby teacher
who'll make us learn addition...
We'll never have to clean a plate,
Of veggie glops and goos-
Messily we'll masticate
Using any fork we choose!
The Timber Wolves will be Our Friends.
We'll stay up Late and Howl...
At the Moon, ‘Til Nighttime Ends,
While going on The Prowl !
Oh, what a life! We cannot wait,
To be in that Arctic Land,
Where we'll be Masters of our Fate,
And Lead a Life that's Grand!
No more of those parental rules-
We're heading for some snow!
Good riddance to those grown-up ghouls!
We're leaving!
“Yukon Ho!”
"Nice underpants." :d
"You're really gross."
"Me off to jungle. Find tiger friend. Live with animals."
What book is this?
Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat

I always thought it was Trump that was president of Deluded Fruitcakes Anonymous.
