By the look of the shackle angle on the rear springs, the rear leaf springs look like they are 52”springs and should be 56”. Can be easily fixed by moving the rear hangers forward if needed to keep the 52” The k20s had 2 different options for leafs based on gvwr.
@@ChucksCustoms actually I might be wrong, those shackle hangers look like they might be for 52 springs. Might just be like that cause there’s no weight on it yet. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Man you got me at the 15:00 mark with that Bible verse. Please keep doing that in all your future videos. Love it. Great job on the frame and builds your doing. God Bless
Dude Chuck!!! He's Alive! So good to see you buddy! Glad you're doing well and awesome to see you're building a cool spot! Congratulations on the new pad! Can't wait to see more Bessie progress.
Chuck welcome back! I was worried. Remember, it’s not that ya fall down it’s what ya do right after ya fall that matters. Get after it! Bessie is going to be awesome with that frame.
It could be your caster. What's your pinion angle at, brother? I'm a rock crawler guy. If you have questions about anything to deal with, link suspension, let me know!
Glad you’re doing well man. Sucks when best efforts don’t pan out but glad to see you’re on the road to fixing everything. Good move on the frame swap, you know how simple these trucks are put together, won’t take that long. Looking forward to seeing it complete. You have a knack for addressing idiocy politely. Don’t weld on the frame? Ridiculous. I’ve had my share of that kind of thing. I am building a squarebody with a 24 valve. Was told by a Facebook expert that boxing the frame is bad because the riveted joints are designed to flex and twist under load. Again, ridiculous. People forget these trucks are built cheap.
I remember being scared of your steering. I have to go back and watch it again lol. I’d definitely suggest going with crossover steering, like you see on a stock Jeep. The push pull factory steering on 4x4 squarebodies is… not good
I think it’s super cute when couples wear matching outfits!😂 Just kidding Chuck. Glad to see you back, congratulations on the new home and thanks for the content! (Notifications engaged)
dude.... wtf are you doing? why the sloppy work? you did awsome on the first swap when i was watching... you have the time and ability to take your time and do it right. why are you doing this frame swap so janky? on another note, you are spreading the gospel in your videos now, thats friggin GREAT!!! there are only a few people on youtube doing this, im glad you are one of them
So good to see you back Chuck!
Good to be back!
Welcome back Chuck! We're still here. Cant wait to see whats coming.
My boy is back 🥹
Damn glad to see you back
Glad you're back chuck.
Glad to see you back man.

Oh I had no idea about that! I thought it was weird that they put up so much of a fight bolting up, but that makes sense. I appreciate the tip!

Great to see you again Chuck! What’s the other squarebody in the back?
Glad to be back! That other truck is “Gretchen” my 1980 c30. You’ll see a little bit of her in the next video when I try to jump start Bessie 😂

Amen to that! It feels good to be working on her and putting out content again. I appreciate the support!
Can we get house building videos too?
I like what you're doing I'll be keeping an eye on you thanks for showing a few more things I didn't do

He has a double triangulated 4 link. No way to get it to steer straight unless it was full hydro lol
Welcome to Tennessee! What part ya living in? Howdy from the Knoxville area. 👋👋👋
Hey we’re practically neighbors! I’m just outside of Sevierville closer to Newport. Absolutely loving Tennessee!
@@ChucksCustoms I'm over to the Northwest closer to Lenoir City. We love it here as well!
Nice! I’ve heard that’s a nice area over there but I’ve never been, myself
@@ChucksCustoms I've been to Gatlinburg/ Sevierville quite a few times. It's beautiful, but a little too touristy for me.
@@blackbuttecruizr without a doubt. I work in Sevierville but thankfully I live far enough away from all the tourist stuff
It's been a while since the absence of UA-cam glad you got a new frame for this Bessie
