    Hello everyone,
After the release of the video I spoke to James Trantina and clarified some things that were either misunderstood or information that I got/represented wrong.
Please take the time to read the comment below-
Firstly, the situation with Mike Harper and the Carolina Crusher name for TNT was misconstrued. After the purchase of PSM (Paul Shafer Motorsports), Trantina was making sure that other team owners/promoters had an agreement with James if they wanted to run one of his names for an event.
At the time of the PSM purchase nothing was set in place between Trantina and Harper for the Carolina Crusher name to be used, but was figured out as the name would be ran later on.
Secondly, the Phelps situation involving them not showing up to Zane's event was not the sole reason for Trantina asking the team to stop running their names. Rather it was the final nail in the coffin, essentially Trantina and the Phelps made an agreement to run the names in different regions, but when the Phelps started running shows up in Minnesota and the Mid West/West regions of the USA, this took away opportunities from James to run with promoters due to them not wanting to run two Bearfoots/Monster Patrols.
There was also disputes of royalties not being paid which I do not want to get into too much here.
Finally, James never lived in his car.
As a content creator I am often researching topics that I cover in my videos and reaching out to numerous people in and around the industry and I am bound to make mistakes.
That being said I am incredibly grateful for James reaching out and clarifying this and helping correct information.
    Thank you all for understanding.

Jackson, it’s worth mentioning that many of these online critics have rarely been more than a spectator, basing their criticisms on assumptions and rumors, not facts and evidence. Giving a person a keyboard is different from giving them intelligence.

Yeah but a lot of them are valid.
James sends his teams out without any basic spare parts and barely any tools and they miss shows because of it. and it happens all the time. Just this last weekend in Lake Charles Monster Patril missed the second show because it broke a spindle in show one and they didn’t have another. It’s one of the most common parts that breaks. They rarely even have all they tools they need.
James needs to spend money on parts, tools, and training, and not trucks. They don’t have a good reputation and for good reason

Being an independent is tough, from a financial standpoint. Most promoters don't seem to care about the history of the sport, or the names of the trucks coming through the gate. Especially, county fair promoters. All they know, is big tires=asses in the stands. Someone needs to step up at a state fair level. Kinda like the Penda Points Series of the early/mid 90's. Doing BIG shows at the state fairs, and 4 Wheel Jamborees. I saw the show this past year at Indianapolis, and to say it was a HUGE letdown, is an understatement. I really feel that this is where a powerhouse owner/promoter needs to step up. And make it about the fans again. Some of these independent shows are great, but lets be real about it. I don't want to see all the trucks from 1 camp, like 2Extreme. Yeah the Cretens have great equipment, but when they are only racing themselves, the true fans lose interest. Someone please make this happen....

Glad to see a lot of the classic monster trucks, I grew up seeing from the late 80's and early 90's live again! Sucks when one company owns all of the trucks. Loved it when all the trucks were independently owned and operated. A lot of intervention was made with the independent owners, trying to get a advantage in racing. Now it seems like you have the same truck underneath and just switch bodies. No real brand loyalty, when it comes to Chevy, Ford, Dodge and GMC. But glad to see the old trucks run again 👍

The problem Triple B has as a promoter is that due to how fractured the independent monster truck market is with a lot more groups like Harper's Monster Truck Wars, Toughest Monster Truck Tour, Monster Truck Throwdown, 2Xtreme Motorsports, All Star Monster Trucks, Checkered Flag Productions, Monster Trucks and too many others to name, all vying for oxygen to be the number 3 promotion to Monster Jam and Hot Wheels. And that is NOT to be meant as a knock on any of those sanctioning bodies or any I didn't mention. The fact is, there are only so many venues and so many shows a given area can run. And I say this as someone that wants to see as many near him as he can.
What I do love about James and Triple B is bringing back the names. Often times we groan when Monster Jam makes a new truck or Hot Wheels uses their questionable gimmick names rather than the independent trucks or even make toys of said indies, but what I love about James, Zane and Harper is they bring back names like Outlaw, Bearfoot, Monster Patrol, Texas Stomper, Barely Tame and Master of Disaster. These names mean things to fans like my brother and I who have gone to shows for 30+ years now and getting to introduce my nephews to.
That said, I do wish James would tone down his interactions online. I think as an owner it is not a good look for his brand to get in arguments, much less fights with drivers and fans. It makes any owner or driver look Bush league.
That said, I cannot complain about James too much other than the name fiasco but to be honest, he is in a tough spot since Paul had relationships with Harper (to an extent) and Phelps where both were allowed to use some names and the use of said names on a show does look bad on him. That said, Zane was mad he needed to scramble for a team to step up when Phelps didn't have the parts in time. Not Phelps' fault especially during a pandemic. Zane should have known a bit better than that.

Seems like the logical next step would be getting involved with Hot Wheels somehow, unless someone steps up and organizes the independent circuit better. Imagine a show with Bigfoot, Bearfoot, USA-1, Carolina Crusher, and Monster Patrol, talk about nostalgia! Plus, that would be a true competitor to Monster Jam, which would drive both to put out better products.

I'd say James Trantina or Mike Harper have the biggest operations currently in the independent world. Both of them have bought out several teams and names and have about the same number of trucks running for them respectively. They both have a stacked list of names as well. The main difference is that Harper has his own tour to run his trucks on akin to Shafer, while James currently doesn't, but it may happen.
It's like we have two operations like Paul Shafer Motorsports from the early 2000's now.

    "We want variety, Not multiples"
That's EXACTLY what me and many other fans want, buddy.
"When you consider that Todd Leduc spend 2022 pretty much solidifying Blue Thunder as his new identity and now he's driving a heckin' shark"
This is EXACTLY how I felt (and still feel) when Cynthia Gauthier moved from Monster Mutt Dalmatian after solidifying that truck as her identity for so long and when Tony Ochs was moved from Soldier Fortune Black Ops when that truck pretty much WAS his identity since 2016.
"I understand that you're trying to ensure that the little kids will get to see a shark or a bull no matter the show they go to, But each driver deserves their own identity."
All drivers whether they're an up-and-comer or a longtime veteran, deserve to have their own individual truck that they can make their own, Especially Weston Anderson. He deserves his own identity. Him coming to Monster Jam was wasted, And I mean WASTED potential for Grave Digger The Legend to make a possible comeback. Speaking of comebacks, There's so many trucks that are either on an indefinite hiatus or ones that have been retired and fans want to see come back.
"Back when Monster Jam was a true competitive sport instead of a market aimed to please a children-only audience."
Since when was Monster Jam ever a child-only type of thing? I always did and will view Monster Jam as being a motorsports event for all ages. My parents would sometimes sit down with me and watch some events back when they were easy to watch on TV. While I can somewhat understand why Monster Jam would be wanting to gear towards kids due to the coolness of the 3D Body trucks they have, I get the feeling the kids mostly enjoy Monster Jam due to the drivers they enjoy and just being able to watch a good and enjoyable show at various arenas and stadiums throughout the world. You know, If I ever were to have children of my own, I'm worried that they won't be able to grow up with the Monster Jam that I had the privilege of growing up with because of the way Feld is currently running things.
(This Jake Mitchell IV fella is saying all the right things!)
