Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast was my favorite Star Wars game of all time before Jedi Fallen Order came out. It totally blew me away when it came out and I still play it today. Jedi Academy should also be on the list.
Star Wars Republic Commando should be on Honorable Mentions, due to its First Person Shooter Gameplay still holds up, even characters, Boss, Scorch, Fixer, and Sev proved to be memorable in their way.

Star Wars empire at war anyone??? The space and ground combat were phenomenal, the hero’s you could field were amazing and a decent story. With an interesting sequel game and then you have to look at the huge mod community. Honestly don’t know how this game didn’t make the list.
As well as unlocking plenty of cool outfits and characters. Not to mention that you start the game by playing as Darth Vader in the first chapter and mission. Which is awesome.
Am utterly SHOCKED that both Republic Commando AND the Rogue Squadron Trilogy didn't even get an Honorable Mention, because BOTH of those games deserve nothing less!
All I wish is that there should be a way to play the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Trilogy and Battle of Naboo on modern consoles. I’d give the Starfighter games an honorable mention.
Empire at War should have been on this list instead of galactic battlegrounds. That and Republic Commando. Empire at War has a lot of mods that people can play in different eras of the star wars universe.
I've been playing Empire at War since it came out and it's STILL one of my favorite games of all time. I played the demo when I was seven and had my Grandma buy the full game for me at Target.
Kotor is a star wars game that will NEVER get old for me, it just does so much right and kotor 2 could also if they would patch the port properly but it seems like its never coming and i hate it.
Just use the restored content mod for kotor 2, it adds a lot to the story and experience, especially towards the later stages of the game and also improves stability. And even so, from my experience k2 is much better optimized than k1. I remember having to spend a bit of time modding k1 for it to work just in 1080p, while k2 can be played right out of the box
Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast was a special game on Pc as and it is my favorite Star Wars game on Pc and you felt like a true Jedi 🙂. I loved playing that game as a teenager and Jedi Academy and KOTOR and KOTOR 2 and other Pc games 🙂
Republic Commando is one of my favorite FPS of all time. People are still hoping for a sequel and I honestly think it would be one of the best Star Wars games easily, even though RC already is.
While LEGO Star Wars was the first to make me feel like being a Jedi and Sith, Star Wars Episode 3 video game was the second while first to have me feel like a fully fledged force wielder.
Playing the original KOTOR through backwards compatibility on XB1 as right now. First time playing it and it has not aged well thanks to the controls and gameplay. Not sure I'll be able to finish it. This really needed the kind of tweaks that would come with a remaster, but I guess the remake will do whenever that comes out.
My feelings as well. Big Star Wars fan, but couldn't even get past the character creation menu in KOTOR, sadly. I feel like it's one of those games that you had to have experienced back when it was first released to fully appreciate it. I'm hoping the Remake modernizes things for new players while still being a fun experience for older players.
Jedi Knight 2 jedi outcast's multiplayer was pretty awesome. You can split screen with another controller and battle 10 computer characters with light sabers and guns simultaneously , or free for all. You can pick your powers depending on the light or dark side of the force you choose. Change the colour of your saber, and 3 different saber fighting styles you can switch between in battle. I still own it for gamecube. Its a classic.
It doesn't it's the only solo adventure game with jango Fett we've ever gotten and it's really well done, it really gives us a good look at the background of his character and just what it's like being the galaxys greatest bounty Hunter
I played Force Unleashed on DS and then Wii. Couldn't finish the DS version because there was this little thing you had to do for strong force abilities where you had to use your stylus and pull all the orbs into the middle of the blackhole fast enough. Could not get past Kashyyk. Then got it on the Wii and liked it a lot better. Then got the second one on Xbox 360.
Jedi Academy is a personal favorite. It has an incredibly bare bones story but the lightsaber fights are great. I wanted an uncomplicated game that let me pretend to be a jedi and swing a lightsaber. This game delivered that. The story is just an excuse to visit locations and fight mercs and stormtroopers but it is fun. And the final series of missions give you the option to use a double sided lightsaber or duel wield. On top of everything else your character is just starting at the Jedi Academy under the instruction of Kyle Katarn.
Kotor to me is not only the best Star Wars game ever made, it's the best Star Wars story ever told. I miss the years before EA pissed away the license, when it felt like there was an awesome new Star Wars game out like every year with games like Bounty Hunter, Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando, Jedi Academy, Force Unleashed. Also, of course Lego Star Wars: The Complete Collection is still great, and in many ways better than Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. It's doesn't have the Disney sequels, spin-offs films, or animated shows, it's just pure Star Wars with the six films. And, yes, when I think of "Master Skywalker, there are too many of them. What are we going to do?" I think camp.
Really all battlegrounds needs is a remaster like Command and Conquer, Some extra graphics and improved mechanics and BOOM! A amazing modern game is there! Though Empire at war Remains my favorite

I agree that Racer's Revenge is WAY better than Star Wars Racer. But... you still get to upgrade your pod in Revenge. Not sure if it's the same as the original (only played the original with a friend who had it for N64, still have Revenge for PS2 and restarted it on PC Emu only a few months ago); but in tournament mode you get to choose how to spend your credits to upgrade your pod. Even has the part names listed (though, really, all your doing is adding another point into whatever spec). Personally, after recently playing Jedi Academy, I feel like Outcast is a bit overrated, and Academy is sadly underrated. It's cool to play as Kyle Katarn -- especially since I read the Force Heretic series as a kid, so I already knew the character -- but, Outcast just never really hooked me. Feels like it takes forever to get rolling. Academy, though, had me addicted to the game from the very first mission to the very last. And, it's been said a thousand and one times in the comments already; but, Republic Commando and EAW definitely deserve a spot on this list. Honorable mention at the least.
I'm going to say not just because the ports never got the patch that fixes the game that was promised, I believe the PC version has but console versions havent and probably wont be patched and it's ashame

I wouldve went with jedi academy as it to this IN MY OPINION has the best lightsaber fighting force powers level design and story not to mention the multiplayer which is still going strong to this day
I will admit Racer's Revenge is an improvement in the graphics department compared to its predecessor but the plot is a little weak and something about seeing Padawan Anakin in his pod racer from when he was 9 just looks weird to me.

the ONLY REASON kotor is clunky in it's controls is if you are a plebian who plays it on console like an idiot. It's a straight up RPG that could be run on an HP notebooks integrated graphics... Go keyboard and mouse jesus christ.
@Barkley then u don't know games it still has a brilliant story mode about the 501 troopers galactic wars is so much fun and you can do training and space battles the only thing that doesn't hold up which new one does is creating your own match with own rules

Ive been playing SW games since that age, Ive played every single one including the old ass rogue squadron on n64 and dark forces on pc. BF2 doesnt hold up well in the modern day at all. The combat is a little janky in this day and age but its without a doubt the best star wars game of all
I know that RoTS video game is a huge favorite but FUCK man did I find it so difficult. It took me weeks to finally beat general Grevious

I'm disappointed that Shadows of the empire and Rogue Squadron weren't here. Somehow, N64 made those my most favorite Star Wars games.
