Tahzib Chowdhury it comes to his attention this week when he finds out what happened at the school. At the minute he’s preoccupied with Jesse’s death and getting revenge on Maxine to notice anything else that’s going on around him. It’s not until Courtney mentions what happened at the school he finds out. So like I said he doesn’t know yet. We’ll see what he does next week. For all we know Jordan could be one of Liam’s lackeys. We won’t find out until this week.

Ann-Christine Nilsson he refers to his dart board as his revenge wheel. He’s even said that he’s going after her for revenge because there’s something about that woman that’s tainted and us Donovan’s end up dead around her! He blames her not just Jesse dying but also his father Glenn and other brother Adam. He’s after revenge after he’s done with Maxine he’s gonna go after James and Mercy still to some extent. Everyone who’s ended up on his dart board he’s gone after for revenge for one reason or another. So it is revenge he’s after, and setting Maxine up for. Even Grace has told him not to seek revenge against Maxine for Jesse’s death. Why do you think she’s on his hit list? Because he’s bored.

He and JP match better. They are more on the same intellectual level. Azim seems to be a sweet guy but they don´t match. I do think that Azim matches well with Scott. They seem to have a lot in common. The fact that JP and James are not in a relationship right now is a good thing as James is in a very bad place and it´s nice to see that they can be friends after their break-up three years ago. They were on something good back then and James started to open up and made himself very vulnerable so I was really rooting for them and then JP slept with Ste and ruined what they were building up. Mitchell was fxxking disgusting in that final scene with Azim! The vile things he said and what he did to Azim I hope that Sami teaches him a lesson!?! There was absolutely no need for that and I found it a bit upsetting to see Azim shaking and terrified because of Mitchell. The sooner he accepts his sexuality the better because he can’t go and carry on like this all the time, when things don’t go his way!

    • @ann-christinenilsson4046

    • @harley7836
      @harley7836 5 років тому +3

Ann-Christine Nilsson clearly. I got so angry seeing Azim shaking and terrified like that. And it continues into the next episode where he’s to terrified to leave the house incase Mitchell comes after him again. This isn’t gonna end well for Mitchell Misbah calls him out on what he’s done to Azim and Sami has made a phone call to have Mitchell dealt with. I absolutely adore Azim I love his character. But seeing what Mitchell did to him p**sed me off! Azim has not only still kept Mitchell’s secret (if that was me I’d be on that bridge telling everyone Mitchell’s gay and I’ve got proof faster then you can say gay man attacks another gay man in a homophobic attack!) but been doing everything in his power to protect and help him and that’s the thank you he gets!?! Someone’s making the excuse “it’s because he’s upset Scott is leaving with Azim!” No Mitchell has lashed out at loads of people when he doesn’t get his own way. His mother for forcing him to come out and telling Scott for Scott to then reject him. Blamed Scott for his grandfather having a heart attack and physically attacked Scott, burning his wigs and humiliating him, Cleo before she left because she started asking questions about why he was in the middle of the village with Scott in the old florist when the crane collapsed nearly killing both of them! He attacked her in the hospital before coming clean. He’s gone off at Maxine when he thinks she saw him when she didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. Openly went on a date with a man in the hutch in the middle of the village and because the guy just wanted sex he went off like a tornado ripping into everyone in his path. So I’m not buying their excuses “it’s because he saw Scott and Azim and heard they was leaving together!” No because all the other attacks Azim wasn’t there for any of them and Scott was only there for two of them. No excuses for terrorising Azim the way he did. And I understand he’s scared because of his bigoted grandfather but there’s no excuse for the homophobic attack towards Azim. I’ve never heard of another gay man open or closeted being homophobic towards another gay man. Even Brendan never went that far and he’s a serial killer. Did he make remarks? Yes! Did he attack other gay men? Yes! Did he ever attack another gay man in a homophobic attack? No! And he was raised a devout catholic and still practiced it’s religion and most of his beliefs. Mitchell has no excuses he begs Scott to stay next week!?! I wonder if Azim or any of his family members tells Scott what Mitchell did or will the writers have Scott not find out and have him stay breaking Azim’s heart just to have Scott play being kept a dirty little secret or DoorMat I started calling him when he was with Mitchell!?! I’m guessing that he’ll stay breaking Azim’s heart and he won’t find out either until it’s too late what Mitchell did to Azim or he won’t find out at all! XoX

@@harley7836 I was also really upset watching Mitchell doing what he did to Azim. I don´t defend Mitchell´s acts. He was drunk and he is acting like a child right now but it is important to understand where this violent behavior comes from. I think that he must have been bullied himself in the past and been taught that being gay is the most disgusting thing in the world. For Azim it seems to have been a more easy journey (I don´t know so much about Azim but he is full of love and understanding). To be gay back in the days was more or less the same thing as being a pedophile back in the 70´s and 80´s and for a fact that assumption was very true in the UK. There are many scared men out there that has lashed out like Mitchell did. In this soap we had Craig Dean and Brendan Brady who did it and it reflects what has happened and still happens in the society. Ryan who married Amy also had these issues and got violent when he was scared anyone would know that he was gay. Yet today there are gaymen that are afraid of coming out which is really horrible. Brendan attacked Ste this way in the beginning and so did Craig to John Paul. Brendan was both sexually, mentally and physically abused by his father and was that even as an adult. He behaved like a scared child around his father even as an adult and unfortunately that is also what happens in real life. Brendan hit Ste and said that he was disgusted by him. That is homophobic abuse right there. Take care.

There is something definitely odd about them. I hardly find them credible at all, to be honest. Everything from how superior they believe themselves to be over the others in the village, despite it includes both a consultant doctor, two lawyers and several teachers/head/deputy head. Why an owner of a model agency, and a record producer should see them as village idiots (unless they have followed James` cases), is a mystery to me.
Could Celeste be Toby`s sister from the family who adopted him - or the orphanage they grew up at, do you think? And maybe he, as his twin brother is really gay?
Or maybe what Mandy saw, which have made them so afraid, is that the two of them are the king pins of the drug trade, and Jordan`s top bosses, and that a drunken Mandy that night saw something which would have made her realize as much, had she been sober?
Or could it be that Celeste is more a Cecil, and that was what a drunken Mandy walked in on that night?
Personally I suspect either theory 1, sister, or theory 2, drug king pins, but I guess there are other possible explanations to their extraordinary behavior too.
One thing is for sure, they are not particularly likable. Which is why I am confused about them as characters - at least Toby. As Martine`s long lost son he should have been curious to learn as much as he could about her, and her family - and the other people in the village should have been his best source for that kind of information. But he has to be dragged to every possible encounter with them, regard them as idiots and is only focused on some sort of plan he and Celeste has cooked up. However, taking into account they have been there for months now, without finding out anything about how and why Toby was separated from his twin brother, any rational person would have skipped the plan and changed their approach.
      But not these two clowns.
And they are calling Darren and Mandy village idiots!? On top of everything they seem so cold they could have been shipped in ice - from liquid nitrogen.
No, I deffo don`t like these two characters. I would rather have had Harry and Jesse back.

Mitchell can himself not change the fact he is born gay, but has had a religious upbringing which defines homosexuality as wrong. Walther, on the other hand, had he read the Bible from cover to cover, would have realized that despite that book has more than 1000 pages, you can count on one hand all the places it says homosexuality to be a sin. Apart from in the old testament there is a reference to the same in one of Paul`s letters to the Romans. But in the very same letter, Paul also says men ideally should live celibate, only if they can not manage to do that he offered life lasting marriage between a man and woman as an alternative. And in the same section of the old testament which describes "A man sleeping with a man as he would with a woman," to be a sin, it is also said to be a sin to combine two different types of clothes together, churches should have roof made of dolphin skin, generally be of a certain size, designed in a certain way and only a specific type of materials used, and we ordinary human beings should offer anything from doves to oxen, and burn them on fire, to create a smell to please the Lord, as it says in the Bible. That is a strict rule that should be obeyed through all times, generation after generation, but do we do it today? No.
Therefore it is more likely other considerations than obeying the Lord`s will which have made it so important for Christianity, but also some other religions, to brand homosexuality to be against the natural order, and against God`s will. And since the sinful homosexual activity referred to usually condemns male homosexuality, female lesbians are not mentioned at all, the most likely explanation is money. Daughters had a lesser value in historic biblical times, and sons were a commodity, since the sons and their family would receive dowry from the family of the woman the son married. There not being any dowry for sons who married each other, naturally homosexuality became a threat to society as they saw it back then, since the son`s family would lose a lot of money, cattle or similar that would have been given as dowry, should the son of the house not marry a woman.
What someone should have asked Walther is, if God, as the Christians believes, have all power both in heaven and on Earth, how come he hasn`t rid the world of homosexuality a long time ago, had he been so against it? And Walther should also be asked, if Homosexuality is so wrong, how come it is only in the old testament and in a letter from Paul it says so specifically, while Jesus Christ, God`s own son, doesn`t directly address the topic one single time? He was too busy teaching people it was their duty to look after widows and fatherless children.
Those two questions were the ones who made me, as a Christian myself, arrive at the conclusion the dowry theory being a more likely explanation to why homosexuality is so widely condemned in religious circles, whether Christians, Jews or Muslims. Cause the dowry tradition, and sons being regarded to be of higher worth than women, all three religions have in common.
Therefore homophobic attitudes and views are relics from a time long gone. Today men and women are more equal in marriage, therefore homosexuality does not represent a threat to society at all. Nowadays, we have pensions and student loans to support people of old age or when starting out in life.
There is more evidence to suggest the condemnation of homosexuality and gays has caused problems in society, than that homosexuality and gays have done so. Especially evident this is in the catholic church, where homosexuality has been, and is, widely condemned. As a result many gay Catholics has sought refuge from their condemning surroundings by becoming priests and live celibate. At least those who have managed to do so. But unfortunately, because of the over-representation of male to male sexual abuse in the catholic church compared to anything from the world of sports and other large movements, it is evident that condemning homosexual practice causes more problems than forms a solution. And the fact that many of the male abuse victims in the catholic church are under age, suggests that a sexuality which is not allowed to emerge and develop, when it bursts out, will do so from the starting point of a young adolescent, even if the body and desires at that time are those of a grown man. And instead of desiring men, the newly erupted sexual being will lust after young boys. There have been too many cases involving under age boys and catholic clergy for that to be a coincidence.
Therefore Walther should praise himself lucky Mitchell has not become a pedophile and a pederast, who had set his eyes on the likes of Charlie, or Bobby, instead of Scott.
It is a tragedy with grave consequences for the world religious homophobia is not more widely addressed and condemned, since the evidence of the many mainly young boys being abused by catholic clergy over decades - maybe centuries - strongly suggests gays not allowed to express and live out their sexual longings naturally, but try to suppress them - same as a kettle that is corked, will eventually burst as the temperature inside raises - will not manage to do so forever. And when those feelings break free, instead of having developed with the rest of the body, are far earlier in development. So an unfortunate combination is created, of a male body desiring full sex - and a an adolescent mind whose curiosity about sex, and other boys, has just been awaken. It is a recipe for disaster. And therefore not only should clergy in the catholic church be allowed to marry and have children, the general condemnation of homosexuality, and even a more open and grown up attitude to sexuality in general, should be implemented. Not only by the catholic church, but all religions.
Cause gays and straights are far more preferable than pedophiles, rapists and abusers.
But without sexuality being allowed to develop naturally, it will become a goal to be achieved by power or force in secret, allowing the perpetrators to outwardly appear as model citizens, while in secret indulging in any sexual activity or perversion they desire, using their power, influence or brute force to achieve it. The latter unfortunately is the current status quo, as anything from the many revelations in the catholic church over the years, to the Metoo scandals are testimony of. But is that how we want it to be? Isn`t true love, and/or real and mutual desires more to prefer?
