Same. The prophet was some fresh ideas back during the jiggy era. Playin yaself was a direct shot at the poison flooding the culture, and i love him for it. Classic stuf
I can’t even get a tenth of the way through it. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A FAN AND YOU HAVE EQUIPMENT, THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A JOURNALIST. Stop interrupting. Nobody clicked on this to hear your voice. Ask the question, or give the proper lead, and then shut up. This interview really is as bad as most of the comments. The first rule of journalism is that it’s not about you.
Wu Tang was always a thing in Stapleton…Rza just took the name over and added all the emcess to make it what it was…Jeru is from Brooklyn same area as Masta and Gza…Jeru did sneak diss Rza on Wrath of the Math..People forget he was dressed just like Jeru in the tragedy video…Wu blocked a lot of shit coming from Staten Island in the early ninties… 5:11
Noble Drew Ali was an extremely ill project. What made it treacherous, was the fact that it was/is contained by a fence entrance. If you were not "good" with anyone inside the development, you would "get got", plain and simple. It's a little better now crime-wise, because it was purchased about 20 years ago by former Met Mo Vaughn and his business partners who cleaned it up, although some of the residents feel like all of the security measures makes them feel like prisoners.
Tru indeed. When him and afu ra spar on mics u feel that wu chemistry. Afus tracks with mAsta killaaa... forget about ittt.. Thats brooklyn monk mastery on mics
On life these interviewers are annoying af!!!! Ru droppin' jewels and dude tryna out-talk him to sound impressive. Ask the ?, and just simply be quiet. Peace to the GOD Jeru..
I respectfully disagree with Jeru, the gritty sound of all genres of 80s / 90s/ 2k music sounds way more authentic hiphop. Sonic beats are pretty but are meant for film and meant to compete with action and visuals. Kanye west started or at least popularized it by directing all his music in that way.
They was all coming out with singles at the same time, plus Jeru was nice, not everyone was into bars, metaphors, knowledge, and Martial arts though, so I feel you.
Stop asking old school artists about today's music, its garbage, ask them about their music, we cant relate to none of this new school garbage, we dont like, support or accept it, we jus let them run loose & do their thing
Copied? Theme or inspiration may be more on point. And this theme Definitely was not used in every aspect of the empire that came out of one of the most original groups in music history.

Most blks don't know how to conduct an interview, and they wonder why Vlad Tv is winning. Vlad allows the guests to speak.
