After I ran my tongue on this movie during a lecture session, I came bakkk to rewatch it. I did a monologue on it again in class. I did encourage my students to watch it and weave the moral lessons from it. In addition, I need to commend the top-notch acting of Pete Edochie. He killed this role pretty, pretty well.
I watched this movie as a kid and didn't really understand much in the movie besides the fact that it was scary as hell. Back to watch it almost 16 years later and I'm glad I did. The movie is top notch and has a way better plot and execution than 90% of the movies in Nollywood today. The actors in the movie also had this nice command of the English language. I'm really impressed!
