- Jon Charles Dwyer is someone I have wanted to share with you all for quite some time. He is a writer blazing a path on his own and has several amazing songs that have found their way into my playlist over the years. With both WV and NC ties, Dwyer does an excellent job conveying his stories and emotions through the medium of Appalachian finger picking and tail telling. Because of Oliver Anthony i came across radioWV. I'm blown away by the talent, honesty, and pain that comes from your soul.
I have no idea why this music..... no art is not played on the main airwaves.

What I gather from his lyrics is that he’s Holding on to deep pain from a lot of loss in his life and is angry at God for it.
If this is the case, I am so sorry for his losses and I hope he comes to know that while the mystery of pain and suffering is one we will never understand this side of heaven, God DOES love him unconditionally.
I know this channel gets a lot of attention because of Oliver Anthony's hit, but man I have found so many other amazing artists thanks to it. For the last three years I added maybe one or two new country artists to my playlist. Now? Nearly every single one on this channel is in there.
Every single word explains my life. This song hit me so hard, I'm glad I was alone when I heard it. I miss the life I could've had.. if what got done to me hadn't got done.

Hey man. I know what losing the best damn dog means, thinking of you from afar and hope you find some peace. The grief comes in waves but that silence is the tough part, at least the music helps.
Buddy reading this post while listening to this song made me tear up. I have a 6 year old German shepherd laying in the living room. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he's the best damn dog I've ever had. It's going to break my heart when he's gone.
As a recovering alcoholic who's drank his summer away after falling off the wagon this song is literally saving me non stop. Trauma of losing an awesome dad recently and some best friends throughout life can be overwhelming but thank God for this song right here. Gonna have me back to church before long. Just hope you know how great this really is. I'll stop commenting now lol.

Mr Dwyer is stunning but I wish to talk to radiowv! I am old. Late 1950's when our parents went out we would turn on my Dad's Telefunken radio - AM/FM, short-wave, and if the clouds were right we got to listen to a radio station from Wheeling, West Virginia! Had to find them on the map 'cause we lived in Calgary AB!! Whole different sound of music! Loved it! There is a bunch of ancient Celt in there! Any who! The fact that you are tracking down and show casing such talented people, living in obscurity - to you I must give "KUDO's"!!! I will check in every day and re-listen to every thing you down load!
