C. Thomas Howell is tasked with living in a farmhouse/jail with his family and watching after prisoners after a jail burned down. But? But the jail is evil. We've got a psycho, a rapist, a drug mule? A couple regular dudes, and? Mark Darby Robinson has been bouncing checks, so he's in there as well. So what's gonna happen when the evil gets in Ponyboy's head? Are him and the prisoners and his wife and kids going to find community and form a big family while they wait for the jail to be rebuilt? Will none of this even matter a tiny bit by the end?
