I don't like the no fall damage, what is good with the gasbag is that you have to care of how you fly. If you can waste the air, not even flying well and fall and start again, there is no point. Gasbag is like a ballon or kind of compare it as a low gravity fly... You make an impulse then you use some jet to keep on some time or direct you , slow you dow before you touch the ground if you are too fast, and that's it, the rest of the time you let you fly with the inertia. You have to add points in oxygene (for more air) and life. You have to keep in mind that more it take speed, and more it is difficult to slow when you add the gravity. You have to keep enough air to slow down at the end and you have to anticipate soon enough before everything. When you go forward it gives you an up force too, so use impulses to stay high enough, but not too much or we will go very high and will have time to accelerate a lot when going down. Unless you have a lot of air reserve or unless you want to land on a very high place. Back will slow your forward speed and incline you, so it's good too to land a bit like a plane (Back feet first then the fronts touch, it reduce the impact, but if you have place enough to land while you still goin forward, it good too because, the vector it good too to reduce the impact). Anyway you have to use small impulses most of the time. Adapt the jets to the situation. I love to fly with my Bubble, it never hurts and it's fast, and so much more realistic, and you have to think. Birds are literally levitating and you drive them like a car, convenient, but everything but real.
This is such a well thought out comment and answer. Thank you for this ! So the main reason I put this on the list was because I just can't seem to fly the gasbags. It's fun and gets me around but I tend to just float to the sky 😂It seems like you definitely have it more figured out than I do lol
@@The_Survivors_Handbook Give you a chance to understand this beautiful creature and do not try to control it the same way you do with a bird. Use the inertia that birds don't have (in game). Don't push your buttons all the time. To train, you have to know that if it is still inflated it reduces the damage, that works with fall too. So at first just try to fly a little around saving the air , and don't go too high, this way if you fall it won't hurt the creature too much. Do not push "c" while you are in the air or you will deflate and fall and then take max damage.... "C" is used to push away enemies when on the ground or emergency landing if you are very, very close to the ground and are about to miss the target on a edge for example (in case it would make you fall from way higher), otherwise avoid it.
