    I miss that job at Whakapapa watching this. Hardest job I ever held though. Very cold, Very exhausting, mentally and physically hard... But all the people around you doing the job with you are awesome. Always suggest it as an adventure job to anyone I know who would be visiting in the winter.

    Hi. I am producing a show for TVNZ on NZ National parks. One ep is on Tongariro and we interviewed Johnny T about the rime icing that you guys get.
    I would love to get some footage or some good stills showing when the icing gets really bad. Johnny described cables sagging under the weight of the ice, or oil drum amounts of ice on the cables. Do you have anything or know who would.
