Sir, what a great find. I'm so glad that all of the gentleman's gear now has another good home. However, the loss of his decades of experience and knowledge due to retirement is so sad. It is good that the few men and women that do have an interest in taking the baton of electronics are running with it. I'm headed for 60 years old and have had an electronics build/repair interest since my teens, but didn't get really involved until 2005ish when I took up the welding equipment repair career. Now the audio bug has bitten me again and I'd like to build two good systems, one 2 channel and the other is an 11 channel but small home theater Atmos system. The repair of higher end LCD TVs and projectors kinda interests me also. We gotta save as much gear from the dump as possible. I'm going to watch your channel as well as all of the other great techs online. You guys and gals are amazing! All the very best to you and yours, Kevin
Yeah I saw some posts on eevblog about that. Only a few parts in this lot of stuff I bought has the foam, and I’ll be moving what I decide to keep to a different storage solution. Thanks for the heads up tho!
Gold 🥇 mine for equipment geeks . I love old equipment over new. 50’s , 60’s, 70’s High end, lab grade equipment back then it’s still extremely overkill for any audio repair of today
Some pretty cool equipment Dude, very nice.
Excellent haul. The components include about 10 hours of work just labeling the drawers.

So nice when an old-timer passes their collection along at a reasonable price. Enjoy your new found gear and parts. So much good stuff!
About your components on Anti-Static Foam, I saw videos where in a couple of years that foam rotted and harmed the component.

I'm ok with Overkill. They are my favorite band, too ;)
