They def have a similar sound. As someone who liked how Rising sounded but didn’t like how awkward some parts of the choreo were, GND was perfect for me bc I loved the song AND the choreo. Honestly GND sounds like a blend of Rising & Generation in a way?

So agree with Rocket Punch's Juicy. I know you don't like summer songs, but that EP had SUMMER PUNCH and it would have been such a better title track for the season!

More & More Sana deserved better also, her and Chaeryeong favored each other during the Not Shy imo which was a factor into why Not Shy is my favorite Itzy. That’s when I became a Midzy.. I still remember the spoiled teasers lol
I became a midzy in November 2019! And I tuned in for Dalla Dalla but was not fond it haha
The way I screamed when I saw DM by Fromis_9 as least liked (yes, I suppose I am one of those who over hype it 🙊 but To Heart is No. 1 for me as well) and then after some time I screamed again for Dalla Dalla by Itzy as least liked lol. I kind of understand wha you mean, because Dalla Dalla would be pretty low for me even if definitely not last. My top3 for Itzy is Wannabe - Loco - Cake and least fav is Mafia In The Morning, always have been.

Nothing makes me more upset than seeing the way some people seem to disrespect early-Fromis ERAs. Songs like To heart, DKDK and Love Bomb are sooo good, but some people just love to hate on cute concepts

Yeah SKZ aren’t SKZ without the genius self-written-and-composed aspect. Also I think the Japanese songs hit harder because they start with English lines more or have more english lines? So us I-STAYs understand the lyrics from the first listen instead of having to go back and look up a translation to understand.
I honestly prefer levanter over scars sound wise but the lyrics to scars make me want to cry every time, they hit too close to home 🥲 But still levanter has a special place in my heart
@@changjinius1499 Oh, cool! I prefer Stray Kids' other emotional songs but it's nice to see people appreciating Levanter nonetheless (I lived through everything that went down in 2019 for Stray Kids, so it's difficult for me to aproach Levanter and most of that album)

@@viviylleia I love finding groups like that! There are so many hidden gems in the vaaaaast kpop landscape that get overshadowed by the relatively few mega famous groups. The latter even overshadow their own often stellar B sides! 😁🙏🦋💖

And so do I, I just have no special attachment to Party O clock
I stan only a few groups, and I only ever make an exception for cuter concepts when the songs are too good to pass up (Some TTs in Treasure's discography for ex like I Love You)
So I don't have opinions on most of these groups and don't really care much to form one or follow their stuff. The few opinions I do have though:
- I dislike Aespa's stuff. I'm not sure why, I guess it kinda feels like a far removed BlackPink for me, I just don't find it engaging or special.
- Loona's PTT was possibly the only song I regularly sought out from Loona, I didn't stan Loona, didn't really keep up with or like most of their stuff but PTT was pretty decent. Could not escape Butterfly in random dances at one point though.
- ZB1 I've literally never listened to because I no longer support anything that comes from Hybe (post TXT), but I think from the examples shown in the video their stuff too far into one extreme or the other for me + noise music isn't my preference, like the background music in the Crush example was like I was listening to somebody trip over a mountain of empty bean cans.
- Kep1er I was considering initially but I listened to Wa Da Da and I noped out and haven't chanced it again, not my thing.
- CLC was 50/50, couldn't escape No, Hobgoblin and Black Dress in random playlists for a time, and Seungyeon collabed with my ults which was a nice surprise. Irrespective of how anybody feels about CLC's songs the one thing everyone can universally agree on is that CLC deserved way better.
- Cherry Bullet's Hands Up was the only song I think I can remember hearing from them. Catchy and I don't mind it, but nothing I'd actively seek out.
- NMIXX was another group I gave a chance to and I heard O.O and dipped. Too reliant on noise music, I might have stayed and stanned if there was good build ups. Not really given the group another chance.
- A.C.E has some underrated bangers like Undercover and Cactus. Cactus is a good example of good noise music I think. If they released more songs like those two I'd definitely be inclined to stan.
Savage had some sort of loud weird distorted high pitched buzzing during the chorus, it's too distracting and kind of headache inducing.
- Kingdom I somehow found right as they debuted with Excalibur, I was on the verge of stanning but their momentum died out, might be why they changed their concept.
- Pixy I also almost stanned and they were releasing left and right (Wings, Addicted) but then they experienced loss of members who I'd come to like a lot. Lost confidence they'd be able to continue, but I wish them well.
- TXT I liked and followed the releases of somewhat, and then they turned emo out of nowhere which was kind of a jumpscare, I saw it as cringey and dipped.
- ZeroBaseOne I've heard things about but not given them or other 5th gens a chance after 4th gen kinda let me down, per the examples shown their music style seems kind of unpredictable and I'm not sure if I like that.
- SKZ I listened to casually for the longest time since Side Effects kind of era. Still listen to their stuff casually, I don't consider myself a stan but if they keep up with stuff like their recent releases I might as well become one. I think I accidentally developed a Bangchan bias after his streams though.
- ITZY felt too generic forced hype kind of music for me. Their choreo is a whole workout routine which is kind of impressive.
- G-IDLE was partly how I found Kpop, when they released Latata. It popped up in my recommended as Jpop for some reason along with another recommended song from my now ult group. I don't vibe with every release but you can't deny Soyeon's music production unless you're uncultured. The group will always have a special place for me.

drama is by far aespa's weekest title track, its too generic from their past tts like savage and girls and sounds like every other kpop song

LMAO OUR SM TASTE IS SO DIFFERENT!!! I literally cannot stand feel my rhythm. I grew used to it after I did a cover of it because I thought it'd sound better with more layered harmonies but without said harmonies it feels empty so even though I'm used to it its so plain compared to some of their other songs (Like Peek a Boo or Umpah Umpah)

That's not that many really depending on when you joined kpop. I've been here for 6 years and check out kpop daily so over time I got into over 100+ kpop groups.
My least favorite from triples would have to be Rising or Invincible. Both are mid compared to songs like Cherry Talk, Girls Capitalism, Generation, and Girls Never Die imo
