- Can you still feel the butterflies...? I can. Even writing out this lyric takes me right back to my college years where I was first introduced to Jimmy Eat World and their third album. As we reached the end of the 90s, the chapter of my adolescence had come to an end, and the transition into adulthood was nebulous and uncertain. It was the perfect time to find some Clarity.

Clarity is such a great album. Like you, I was introduced to Jimmy Eat World with that album. I was in NOLA for Mardi Gras in 2000 and crashing with some friends from college and my friend Scott played it for me because he knew I liked good vocal harmonies. I wound up picking it up later when I got back to Charleston, SC.
On aside that's only related because it's also about music, I picked up my vinyl copy of NIN's The Fragile while I was there.
Tom from Blink and his hype got me into Jimmy Eat World.
I knew Jimmy Eat World prior to Bleed American too but that was because of you!
Wow, I am so happy to have found this channel! It’s been two years of watching your shorts on tik tok recreating what it was like hearing these artist for the first time, to which I must say “nailed it!”. But this is far more gratifying, I really enjoy your input and look forward to many more videos from you. You make me want to get out and discover more music.

@@JacobGivens you wanna talk about nostalgia, a good friend who was always putting me on to great music much like your roommate. He showed me Archers back two in 2008, 18 years after they had been a thing and I was just floored at how much I loved them. That was during my college years in the same town they formed in,Raleigh, North Carolina. I got to see them live at a smaller venue and 2016 and man that is still one of my favorite shows ever. Quinn beast and Leo are probably two of my favorite songs but album wise VeeVee has really grown to be my favorite album thank you. And again, thank you for everything that you do.
