Those parents really impressed me. They are so realistic in their expectations and so incredibly strong!

It is not all sappy stories. I love this Mom's truth. The children had no choice - just trying to survive life as a child.

THANK YOU for being realistic and open. My daughter (adopted at age 7) is similar to your kiddos. It is not always sunshine and rainbows but it is always an honor to be her mother.

Thankyou for doing this I grew up with an abusive mother who kept retrieving me from foster care but the glimpses you spoke of matter! Those precious moments when a hand that reached for me reached to comfort and not cause pain, those glimpses gave me compassion where before there had only been apathy they taught me that not all children suffered that it wasn't normal, today I'm a youth worker I only hope I help one child realise their pain matters and that they can over come evil even if it birthed them.

These kids have been rescued by your kind spirits. The world is better because of people like you. 20:00 the love the parents have for each other is so sweet and kind. Love. More love like this is what the world needs.

There are so many children like this, and a shortage of foster parents. Anyone who can help these kids, please step out on faith and do it.

I LOVE her view of foster care. Not a perspective I've heard before.

I have been looking into adoption for about a year. Your story made me open my heart to considering adopting sibling groups. Thank you for sharing.

5:40 really spoke to me. Not all kids can avoid going back to their bad situations. At least they got a glimpse of a "normal" family situation and then have a choice later in life on how to raise their own children.

Its a shame that grandparents and family dont get the same training opportunities as foster carers. As foster parents we are well supported with training and resources, not so much with family placements.

I agree! Kinship placements should have foster care training!

I think that it's sad that they didn't adopt the children who were clearly comfortable with and attached to them...

The parents didn't tell how their biological girl became attached to the adopted siblings ...
