I feel like going for the Wizard but being a Blacksmith might be a good idea because of the over charge.. so what do you think?
I will be making lots of guides on it soon. Personally I chose blacksmith since it earns more zeny and has better drops, had great party buffs, and deals great damage.
As someone who's played the original Eternal Love server for 2 years but then stopped, this Zeny only server seems like an awesome way to get back into the game. Even tho I spent some money on the main server (not enough to be a whale tho), I know that It's nearly impossible to catch up on all the events, items, cards and free stuff that I missed unless I spend tons of money. Being able to start fresh with less P2W seems awesome.
Looking forward for the zenny server! I hope it would bring back a bit of the nostalgic feel of the classic ro but in the ROM setup. Also a lot of my friends who can't catch-up with ROM is also looking forward to this server so we can start together and build our desired jobs not just because of the meta jobs. It would be fun to explore other jobs too hoping that the job balance would be effective in this new server. -nathi333
i would be interest to try it out, it definitely reminiscence of iro online. as it progress, dev add stuff that require $$ via subscription and other ingame perk. the problem i think zeny server will have is they will make grinding for stuff slow to a snail pace and such to force ppl to spend later on. I think this novi server is good for those who want to enjoy and play ROM as fresh f2p player and this server makes your account progress based on how long you have play on this server, I hope the current server makes some changes about prem. like making it account wide like offline farming... and make some adjustment on level gap drop like nulltifying drop/exp penalty if you have a prem. account...
Translation to farm you say you nid billion zenny to max guilde contri to max gold took me 2year to cooking to refine equeip 2b not to mention guilde blessing etc etchetera in the end gravity will betray you to scam you dev will play you that the warning to you your efforts time money investment in the line in the end you will feel miserly to play that game I speak for my experience but good luck na lang
For me since i have invested many years in rom. I see no reason to start from scratch. Might aswell start on a different game but if I'm fresh then this could be a good choice
For me who stop playing because yeah the problem of getting left behind on events to have the deposits because im busy working and playing f2p only. This would be great for me. But I think other players still playing on the old server will not gonna play on new server because they already invested so much on their old accounts.
you will still be behind on this new server don’t worry. people will buy zeny in bulk. it s just another way to name bcc. Nothing is changed the business model is the same. as soon as it starts day 1 you will be already behind trust me.
i hope dev actually implement this features in old server instead of making new one, i dont want to start from scratch and i believe so does many other old players (which make the largest player basein ragnarok EL.) As i mentioned before the % attk doesnt need to be removed, it just need to be nerfed especially in PVP. Older players should be compensated for their loyalty to play the game for long time but not overpowered either that new players can still catch up especially in PVP since in PVE, the stronger players can actually help each other instead. One of the way is by reducing handbook stats in PVP like 70~90% reduction so the gap between new and old players attack for example can be reduced since the more handbook stats you get means more stats are removed or reduced exponentially. This prevent having huge advantage from deposits but still give lil advantage to players who spent their time and money. 3:00 also talking about the social aspect i believe having decent social chat features, etc is more important than game teamplay. MMO should be fun even if youre battling solos because of this features like chatting, fun mini-games, trading and also decent PVP player setting etc all of which i believe ROM EL is lacking in comparison to the old RO or other versions.

One of the problem is the deposits(specially limited item a month) many players are busy in real life. So many are left behind on this thing that makes them quit mostly f2p. Second is stated on the vid, that so many complicated things to do can end up to be burn out or miss some of this tasks or something you want to do in the game. One of the oldest mmo is old-school RuneScape, and still never dying because you control your time and not the game controlling your time to play.
@jonazz900 deposits are not a hindrance to players who are busy. In fact it helps them, since those ppl may has money all they need is to spent bunch of them if they dont has the time. 2nd. Im literally suggesting to limit deposits effects in PVP...which will be exponentially (higher deposits higher depo stat reduction) hence reducing gaps between low and high tier depo. This is one way to mitigate the gap while retaining old players, ensuring cash, instead of having completely new server with 0 deposits. No one want to start new with same contents they already did many times.

My friends irl and in game last couple of year who want to play again feel left out with just a month of stopping because to many real life things to do, they feel left out because of that. i played the cn server. its pretty chill, bout 20-30 days to reach 3rd job. its gonna be tedious to do adv book and collection again, but headgears adv book and cards adv book is actually easier becos of the system with oracle easy card album and cake shop. main hard thing is lvling, building multis, and really getting the refine n gears becos mats will be expensive af. ah yes, aesir gold medal gonna take long before you get1.5m contri and 2000 medals lol. but if there is playerbase, i think its worth it. especially when romel have pc version right now which is pretty smooth. and gonna feel alot diff without S runes 3rd line effect etc whales can get huge head start by zenying all the costumes etc and spamming saferefine etc, no doubt. but there will be a cap. so p2w is only for the start i would say. the huge diff can allow them to get mvps, and hold castles etc, building god weap earlier etc but yea eventually it will be quite balanced among all.

could you do a short comparison Video for Ronin on what is better Soulcage with +20% dmg to large vs +15% dmg and mdmg? My friends keep telling me the former is bis but I've read several comments in the discord that the 15% dmg one outperforms due to the copius amounts of matk high depo ronins can reach with mdef switch and matk is not affected by the size multiplier. I'm really curious but cant test it myself D: I'll try zeny only for sure out!
Hi Wobbly, new to the game and playing Stellar hunter. I am struggling to kill kobold leader in endless dungeon. Is there a way to solo it as a phys char?
Back when I was stellar hunter, the way I killed KL was you need faith pray from a saint to prevent you from dying. You can also use anti-death food. The reflect is really annoying, but that's the only way to deal with it. If you can't kill him, you can channel switch to get different bosses.
I think I could summarize what I like about this new server as: I like it it's more like classic PC RO, in fairness and long-term stability. And that, unlike RO and ROM, it's more time efficiency oriented. I would miss the new classes tho. Global Eternal Love langus7

No official date yet. I personally think if you don't care about competitive PvP, then existing servers are fine. I will never seriously play PvE on the zeny only server since I heavily invested on global for that
They have the data, they wouldn't make this concept if they knew no one would play. ROM is so infinite deposit, make new server so new players would try, some months later they merge, so you would face the 3-digit deposits, repeat. Non-whales are just fodders for the whales. As you can see in the video, whaés just 1v1 raid-bosses in less than one music-length.

This is available in all countries. You will be in a different server depending on the region. There is SEA for Asia, EU for Europe, and global for everyone else
One of the big reasons why it’s discouraging for new players to play on the current servers is because of the ridiculous cost of BCC and actual in-game rewards. Spending a little bit of money is okay, but spending too much takes the fun out of it. And even if you can afford all that, it still questions the value of your purchase versus actual cost in real life. It’s supposed to be a game... Nuff said.
😂 I just started playing Ragnarok again and during the past 4 months I've spent around $3,000 to catch up with my guild mates...and now I hear about this. Great. Everyone is going to move over to this server instead, and all my money was wasted for nothing. Lol.
I don't think existing people will move because they spent so much money already. I think ROM is great for PvE, it is just PvP which I think isn't fun due to the insane difference in whales. It is hard to reconnect PvP to new players because they often have no chance. Whereas PvE is able to work for f2p players who just started

The server would probably be bankrolled by the original servers. I would like to think that since all the asset is there, they do not need to do much more development so, initial development cost is very minimal which also allows them to release this server.
Zeny only server for global would be a nightmare, we already saw how it was with the destiny promise, a dead server with lack of EVERTYHING, from farmable items to weapons to cards and other things, it's the worst idea they ever came with and will be end of service for global if they do this.

Nice opinions but I have to disagree on one, I have to disagree with the class being not-independent, this just makes people with 2 phones or a phone and PC have a big advantaeg by playing a main and a support. Or is just an opinion by a very popular content creator. Many games didn't last long after their initial honeymoon phase, cause they're either P2W or became squad reliant, if you seen many videos with team queue like Wow Raid and even the new Arena Breakout, you'll read many comment saying they stop cause they're facing teams with voicecomms, and they want solo queue. Imagine broke teens with voicecoms and chugging redbulls, no matter how much money you saved in the bank, you can't enjoy the game.
I don't like the combat time system. There is a private server NFT which the system is same as this server but the combat time was based on the official server. The only difference is that they have gachas that can only be bought with zeny. BTW whale players are opposing this kind of server 😅🤣😂
I do believe the zeny server would be great, cuz to be honest, theres so much class imbalance in the current server and the game has already strayed too far from the original game.

Many games didn't last long after their initial honeymoon phase, cause they're either P2W or became squad reliant, if you seen many videos with team queue like Wow Raid and even the new Arena Breakout, you'll read many comment saying they stop cause they're facing teams with voicecomms, and they want solo queue.
Imagine broke teens with voicecoms and chugging redbulls, no matter how much money you saved in the bank, you can't enjoy the game.
I don't like the combat time system. There is a private server NFT which the system is same as this server but the combat time was based on the official server. The only difference is that they have gachas that can only be bought with zeny. BTW whale players are opposing this kind of server 😅🤣😂
I do believe the zeny server would be great, cuz to be honest, theres so much class imbalance in the current server and the game has already strayed too far from the original game.
Yes the current server is really unbalance for classes. It is hard to nerf classes too since people (including me) would get pissed off

I agree with you, game will be balanced and it will make the game more team based whether in pvp or pve. Player macro/micro will be evident as well.

I think it gives players a fair feel on what it means to progress with hard work and not get boosted easily with bcc. Also will balance everything out.

Some of the ideas sound really nice but I wish there was no option to buy zeny for real cash without any limits. As for me, I'm way too attached to my main account and what I've achieved on it over the past 5 years to start again from the scratch :p
