I made a comment on the 18th of October 2014 after observing the dramatically increasing views on UA-cam of this video I filmed and uploaded of Natalie (my mum) that reaching 100,000 views would be a wonderful gift for her 80th Birthday being the 23rd of October. At this stage it was sitting on about 70,000. On the 22nd of October I made another comment, "Well.....it seems at this stage (884,272 views) that it might just make "ONE MILLION" at some stage during the day.
At 10.35 am on her 80th Birthday it did just that.1,000,000 and by the end of the day 1,100,202 This is not just phenomenal..it's rightly earned by her. The world is listening, and not just listening to an old lady playing piano on the street, but listening to a musical genius.
I made another comment many months ago, that it seems is not just my 'bios' opinion, but is a shared belief the world over..and I quote myself "Arguably the best 'unknown' composer in the world today"

When I filmed this some time back, I felt, well was hoping that maybe the world would sit back and listen to one of, if not the best 'unknown composer' in the world today (my mum 'Natalie') Well it seems the world 'is' listening and rightly so. This is just 'one' of her compositions.And it appears to be going 'viral' on UA-cam. There are many more that I would call absolute master pieces. Pending the right time, you will be introduced to those, but in the meantime...enjoy the 'now'.

Her music is just perfect this way, it touches the soul of millions by just playing an digital grand on streets surrounded by people...I can't compare myself to this genius lady, but I know the feeling of inspiration, I have felt so several times when hired to play background music on lunches and dinners, people coincidentally complimented me after playing an inspired improvised piece, it's like...the very soul talking

I have always loved best the music of the Symphony. Your Mums beautiful composition is a wonderful inspiration to me. I have never been so touched. I was finally unable to care for my Mum after she broke her hip in May of this year. My mum is 87 next month. I am living in the shadow of my own guilt. But Natalie is truely wonderful. I wish her a delightful Birthday.

It is one thing to be capable of playing a piano to this standard..there must be many thousands of people who can. But to be capable of creating a piece of music with the emotional impact of this one is quite a different matter,and I suspect,a very rare thing. Wouldn't it be lovely if someone of influence arranged for it to be properly scored and we finally saw Natalie walk out on stage in front of a full orchestra to take her place at a Steinway and play this,her creation. This remarkable lady deserves no less !

This made me cry!!! So much emotion in this piece. It really made me think of suspense and love and loss and happiness. Each section really invoked a different emotion. It would have been perfect for a silent movie or stage production. You really can feel the emotion she put into writing every note of this beautiful performance. I can't wait to see more videos.

Thank you for filming and sharing this. The performance was moving, such magic! I listened to all your recordings of her, I could listen to her piano for hours. No matter how many times I watch this, or any other video she puts out, I always end up in tears. I’m not quite sure why, I don’t know if it’s seeing somebody on the streets that age still playing, or if it’s just that sure beauty of her playing, and the amount of feeling and emotion she puts into every single piece, but whatever it is, i’m in love with her, but don’t worry, I’m a gay man that lives in Toronto, when I say I’m in love with her I mean I’m in love with who and what she is, such a tender sweet soul, the emotion just pours from her fingers onto the keys and into our hearts. I know it’s her son posting these videos, please, as long as your mother is still able to perform, please keep posting these videos, they are so uplifting and so moving they can change my entire outlook on life. I don’t have enough words to describe my most sincere love and appreciation for sharing your talent with the rest of the world, but she truly is a gift, a gift from God, I only hope that everyone can appreciate her as much as I do, sending you all my love and respects, from Toronto❤️

Someone needs to put these incredible compositions on paper as sheetmusic, they deserve to be preserved and played by others. Letting these fade and be forgotten would be such a shame. Even though I doubt anyone would be able to play them with the same feeling, these are works of art and should be treated as such
