I'm a chemical Engineer with a short experience in oil and gas plant ( 3 years) Never worked in operation , I've been working as a project Engineer which we normally don't go into details in technical things. Only following the general progress of our plant construction in terms of how much completed this week and what is the plan of next week and so on. Now, I am shifting to a live Refinery and luckily I found your channel hero, really appreciate your effort ,Thank you very much You literally helped me a lot to understand the basics. Once again, Thanks Chief!
Im so glad you find value in my content! Please check out more content in my channel and website as well ;) I wish you well in your new adventure my friend
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy Sure mate, I've already visited your website and decided to take some coursec as well. Thanks for your affordable prices and informative contents. Very soon I will enroll for a couple of courses. Cheers
Honestly, I have been learning so much from your informative contents. I was struggling with an instructor who didn't teach the concepts properly. Now, I start to figure things out. I would like to thank you so much
"one thing is to learn, another thing is to do" yeah, i totally understood that xD it was all good in the beginning but i lost myself haha. thank you for ur effort bro, i really appreciated that
Hi. Thank you for making this video. I am considering going back to school in chemical eningeering, but before I do I will need to study Chemistry and physics, because I need a knowledge base from which to start from.
Chief Mongol hey, thanks for commenting! I really appreciate when people take the time to do it! I DID create this course, all slides are mine! you can always go to the website to have access to the slideshows!
Very happy to follow your presentation.. very helpful. Thanks so much ... May I get a presentation of operation systems for volatile oil extraction from plants ? - Enfleurage - Steam and Water Distillation
hey i'm new to the channel. I'm going to be applying for chem eng at uni this year, really excited for it!! I don't do physics as a subject, will I be disadvantaged a lot or not? (I still do maths&chemistry a-level). And btw I subbed:)
Well, it really helps, but doesn't mean you can't do this course without it. You will need knowledge of pressure, force, changing from atm to gauge... etc... Nothing difficult =)
I did physics at gcse and got an A*, I dropped it at a-level at the start of the year, maybe I should've carried on:( Would you say without physics it'll be REALLY hard or just hard in general? and Thanks!! I really can't wait, Imperial college London is my main choice!:)
It is a hard subject, it is actually easy for math/logical minded people. In the end, is just about matter of HARD WORK... if you want it then work for it! Good luck for theImperial College!
Could u please be more emotional or loud telling this lecture. I almost fall asleep. There is not much video on ChEng in youtube. I think Khan academy is very good example of simple and not-boring. But they dont have ChEng
He has just simplified the whole of chemical engineering. Thank you a lot, brother
thanks XD thats my main goal!

Hi. Thank you for making this video. I am considering going back to school in chemical eningeering, but before I do I will need to study Chemistry and physics, because I need a knowledge base from which to start from.
yeah! you will need solid knowledge on chemistry & physics in order to start with material balances!
Great presentation, informative and learnt quite a lot.
+abraham Ofentse Magwaza thanks man! I really appreciate the time you take to comment!
Great job with all of the introductory descriptions. I'm guessing you didn't create these powerpoints, but I could be wrong. Rebuke me if I am though!

Chemical Engineering Guy
Thanks for the simplified content
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the introduction I'm an plant operator wanna study chemical engineering part time
Great! Mass Balance is always the backbone of chemical and process engineering!
Did you mean learn by heart or actually learn by hard?
I meant learn by HARD but... most likely, if you learn by HEART you will actually learn it better =P
Nice. Helpful.. Thanks chemical engineering guy
youre welcome!
