Maakaron has a lot of good opinions. But disagree with trading Skubal. Good segment

I guess I just don’t understand the trade Tarik Skubal talk. I’ve been a guy that has wanted the tigers to trade Fulmer, Matt Boyd, and Spencer Turnbull when they were coming off good years, because the future at that point was so bleak. Now I think you’ve missed your window to trade star players. We have a wave of young bats in the majors and in triple A that need time to develop, so it was beyond obvious that this year was going to be a fringe playoff year. However, next year looks relatively promising, if the young guys like Keith, Meadows, Perez, and Jace Jung keep progressing, we see another step from Riley Greene, and a return to form for Tork and Rogers. You don’t trade Skubal now. You have a rotation that can be one of the best in baseball, stock full of young, developing talent, and led by a bonafide ace. You don’t tear the foundation of your team down just because the youth movement is moving a bit slower than the fans anticipated.
