I’m very sad you have left St. Helena, Fr. Miles. I came upon the treasure that was Fr. Mark only after he had died.He led me back to the Catholic Church , the sacraments and the holy eucharist through his remarkable homilies, and I’ve l’ve recommended him to lots of my friends. An amazing man and I would love to see him recommended for sainthood because getting me back to the church was a miracle for me!! And now father Miles you have left too! I’m so sad because your voice and it’s calming effect got me through my sadness about Father Mark!! You of course follow the lord’s plan for you. God bless and keep you and may his perpetual love shine upon you ❤
I couldn't have said it better. He has been a balm to my heart after learning about Fr. Mark's passing. I have never met either one but have been so drawn to their homilies. It's been a year now since I saw Fr. Mark had passed, and I saw him trending in the news. That segued to seeing his posts on UA-cam. My whole life changed, and my faith got stronger. I feel like he's praying over us. Fr. Mark, I love you. Rest in peace. Fr. Miles, I love you, too. May you always be blessed in all of your endeavors. May God bless St. Helena's with comfort and peace through yet another transition. I hope to make a pilgrimage there soon. ❤

Every Sunday from faraway Nigeria, I looked forward to Fr Miles' beautiful homilies. I was particularly touched by the one about God's economy of grace, especially as his childhood experience at Baton Rouge, reflected mine in a local Nigerian community. How you deliver moving sermons with an unpopular calmness makes it all the more intriguing. Your perspectives are equally uncommon and insightful. Fr, may God keep you as you move on. St Helena will miss you. I will miss you even more.

Death is hard for all of us to understand, but when there is a lingering in health of an illness this is a blessing as God welcome's them into the Kingdom 🙏.
