You can attempt this incredibly time-consuming, hard-to-follow process, or you can simply spread the "used" seed on a flat pan/plate, go outside and lightly blow on it...it's called separating the "wheat" from the chaff. It takes only a few minutes and works for all seeds.

I bought a 2nd budgie today. A female albino. My daughter really wanted an all white one. Now I have two budgies again. My male is 5.5 years old. He has been alone for the last year. He's blue and very tame. Flys around a lot.

If you want your budgies to live long healthy life you don't feed them seeds and especially millet like it's going out of style. Pellets, fresh fruit and greens are key to a healthy budgie

This is a very helpfull video for budgie owners 🤪its to hard to seprate waste from budgie food and we oqners got a way from you thanks alen xp and its hard to make a food separator 😊
....my solution,put the seeds in a large container,shake and the shells rise to the top,remove with your fingers or blow them with your breath,...which I hate doing...

Ah yes, it is in the nature of us UA-camrs to upload at 3am when we feel like it regardless of what content we make.

also, what i do is leave small amounts in the bowls and change them a couple times a day I also alternate between seeds veggies and pellets throughout the day bc i want them to live FOREVER
Alen my budgies have 2 baby budgies can you put one video about baby budgie care I know that one video you have uploaded but some food items what all food we should share to baby budgies like that THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME ....
Also take vaccum hose and go about inch or two above the plate have to vacuum floors anyways with birds, atleast I do every day.. I also started saving the used food in bucket for the outside earth birds, they love it. Sometimes I put some in small cups of water and let the seeds grow and my birds love that it.
I go thru a couple of 40 pound bags of seed every week and a half or so i think it is now. How do you count a cloud of parakeets.

Yes it's called a threshing machine, similar has been used for centuries to separate grains from husks

For easy use , bring a plate or a bowl that had a deep in and put it but u need to be outside your house like a backyard do blow and shake and u got the seeds ready to them to eat

I copped a small one from a near pet shop here, it works well but he eats a shit ton more seeds now so Idk if I should be using it

Lemme give u some tip ... just take the seeds that u feel like have a lot of husk .. spread it on a plate blow it slowly .. all the husk will fly away .. and u can clean seeds now ...

Ditto^ ... I just shake the bowl of food so the seed goes to the bottom, then blow the husks off with a straw.

I have a small cardboard tray, kinda like the 1 you made to catch the seed in.
I bring it outside and just take my little dust pan and fan the emptys away while shaking the cardboard box! Works wonders! Saw my mom doing it back in the day when I was walking home from the bus stop- (our driveway was a mile long) so I just did the same. She saw it on MySpace a LOOONG time ago!

My budgies are really messy but in the end of cleaning I put them on my chest to play and cuddle.then I give them a little strawberry to munch on they fling it in the walls and I repeat with no strawberry so yes VERY messy I say yes I love the idea I would use it mostly for pellets they like 1 brand but messy.

Please remember that bidgies benefit from a mostly fresh diet as in bean sprouts, millet sprouts, wheatgrass, lentil sprouts, barley sprouts, romaine lettuce, apple, pear, grated raw carrot and spinach
I named by best budgie friend cookie after ur cookie.But my one's green in colour.So cute budgies u have.But my budgies are not laying eggs. it is 8 months since i bought them.What can i do?
