That’s a very old joke told different ways but the punchline is always the same.
I heard that same joke back in the 80's. But it had Ronald Reagan, Nancy Reagan and Jesse Jackson as the main characters!
I heard the same joke in the early 90's. The characters were Strom Thurmond, Bill Clinton, and Hillary.
I originally heard this joke in the early 80s except it was OJ Simpson telling Richard Nixon "the trick" and then Dick tries it on Pat and she calls out "OJ, is that you?" There was another Nixon joke concern his wife with the punchline "getting it down Pat" but I don't remember the set up.
