is it possible to use the wifi slot for a 2230 ssd instead and then use usb wifi adapter for internet? if it's possible, would you recommend that?
I would like to have 4TB storage but I already have a 2TB ssd, so I was thinking instead of buying a new 4TB ssd, it would be cheaper to buy a 2TB 2230 ssd instead.

I've never heard of that and I'm sure that's not in the manual. You'll have to try it for yourself. If you do try let us know.

Would a one sided nvme with a thin heatsink work and fit inside the shielding? or the heatsink is not needed with the shielding present?

@@ChatoPizana Windows: You can try ASUS cloud recovery in bios to install windows or clean install yourself: ua-cam.com/video/QDtthnHv4ik/v-deo.html
Drivers: Intel WiFi cards there’s 3 things to note.
      1. It may just work after install. If it does, connect to the internet and run windows update and it will install drivers.
      2. If it doesn’t work, try connecting to the internet with an ethernet or WiFi dongle, if you have one. Then run Windows updates.
** Do this next step on your G14 if you have internet. If not, you’ll need another computer, device or Linux live environment on your G14. Then transfer the downloaded files to your G14 with a USB drive.
      3. Search Google for your WiFi card model. (Mine was Killer AX1675x).
Then find the Intel website link. Go to downloads tab. For Killer you’ll need killer performance suite/intelligence center and it updates everything for you. For normal cards download WiFi & Bluetooth separately. Then update the drivers through Device Manager on your G14.
