How to replace the batteries from a BEO4 remote control

Dude I struggled for 15 minutes before I finally searched yt and found this! Thank you!! Its been like 4 years since I replaced the batteries and couldn't get it open for the life of me

slide up slightly from the base then pull up/open slighty at the top using index finger and then slide up from the base again and it will come off clean. The final part is very important ie sliding it from the base after opening the top slightly as if you just try to open the top with a coin or fingernail without sliding it from base - it will break the cover.

How can I be able to hear my bang and Olufsen 7-40 volume for my tv I can’t hear it at all I must of hooked something wrong on it well I don’t know cause the tv was a gift from the company my step dad works for

Thanks for this, so simple when you know how. In the past I’ve broken several of the plastic teeth off trying to do this. Terrible design, not at all user friendly.
