This full length film covers the 2019 and 2020 land speed racing efforts from Team Lowbrow. The team consists of Tyler Malinky, Kyle Malinky, Andy Cox and Alp Sungurtekin. With the rollercoaster of emotions that left everyone in heart ache after Tyler crashed at Speed Week 2019. The 2020 race season was left questionable due to the state of the world and the concerns if racing would even be able to happen. A last minute decision was made by Tyler and his brother Kyle to return to the salt for World Finals 2020 with hopes of redemption and putting their names in the record books.

Ralphie Hudson lived to go faster, and then faster again. He was a fearless competitor and the nicest person you would want to meet. He was gracious, humble and will be forever missed...
R.I.P. Ralph...a true legend
Ride the wind my BROTHER! ! ! Rj out
Great job on the Triumph guys, well done. Applying science to engineering is the path to speed, only nerds with balls do well at Bonneville. Well done.
Land speed racing is one big problem solving experiment... That is why I like it so much. Build, tune, race, there are so many ways to tweak out and try and go faster, and solve problems as they occur. It's a blast! - Tyler
@@lowbrowcustoms My mate (and helping me a bit), did some sprinting on triumphs in 80's. After all the usual tuning stuff found we got a bit extra, shortening crankcase oil return tube ie reduce oil in crankcase making more like dry sump reducing drag on flywheel. The motor only had to last for 12 miles a season!
Great video! I built a bike to race there for 2015 the race was canceled then came back in 2016 what a rush! Had tears in my eyes on my rookie pass I will never forget the feeling I had at that moment flying across that salt on a 40 plus old bike that I built out of junk lying around!
Tyler's got a world class business, BADass LSR motorcycle and pine 2x10 loading ramp.
Lol!!! It works the best, nice and flat... I have a curved aluminum ramp but my race bike is so low it drags on the slight curve! - Tyler
@@lowbrowcustoms Just busting your tomatoes!
I love every part of that video, the story, the editing, the bike, the personalities, the ceremony, the color grading. Damn fine video
I have followed your Bonneville story for many years now. This was the most involving and personal chapter yet. Here in Australia we have our own opportunity for land speed racing, but the last few years have not been conducive for record runs.
I hope the gods of speed shine on season 2021
Nicely designed and executed bike and inspiring story. Well captured. Thanks for sharing!
God bless you and YOUR VENTURES TYLER @ LOWBROW CUSTOMS and the guys involved. So glad your OK. LBC4LIFE.
Been waiting for this!! Pumped. Congrats on the record Tyler!
Thanks Motodude!

Wonderful story and tribute to Ralphie Hudson.
Great docu man! Enjoyed watching this one. Those lowbrow coveralls look damm nice!! Should put those up for sale on the interweb!!
Windowed the cases. Great description; wording. Glad to see you are okay Tyler, you seem like a solid dude.
What a special magical place.
Great video as always, really enjoy watching them. Stay safe guys.
great stuff! well done on the record and the film guys top notch!
Thanks! Mikey filmed and edited the entire video, I think he is top notch as well! A one man machine! - Tyler
Great video! You know for sure that if you don't have your head in it don't run it, seeing someone go down sucks, cause then the seed is planted. Bonneville is just 120 miles away from my house and it's a good time for sure! Thanks! Really liked it
Congratulations on the land speed record which you & crew have achieved..
To offer others the opportunity to ride this bike is commendable when you ride the new twin engine Triumph..
Your future legendary status in this discipline is assured by your speed records..gesture of goodwill..persistence & patience.
Nice Cup words spoken at sunrise R.I.P Ralph.
Thanks for a entertaining insight of Bonneville.
Zed (Australia)
I don't see the loading ramp in Lowbrows catalogue..Lol
Thanks Zed! I really enjoyed the memorial for Ralph Hudson as well. It was a small thing that he would have really enjoyed and appreciated, I believe. And lol, believe it or not, I made the ramp myself!! - Tyler
That was an awesome video. Your definitely hooked.
Thanks for another inspiring video! 🍻🤙
Great video, and nice touch with the whiskey.
Congrats on a good run! Psyched for the new dual engine bike!!
Fantastic! Love watching the runs. Ohio pride!
Lovely tribute to Ralph, so sad to see anyone go before their time.
super place...been there many times....awesome video...gave you a sub---R.I.P. Ralphie...sad days that.
Fantastic
Oh no. As soon as I saw that wobble I knew it was going to be a tough crash on that abrasive salt.
Congratulations on the record coming from Germany 🇩🇪🇺🇸
Thank you!!
Wow, it's a creative and unique motorcycle.
I'm glad the passengers weren't hurt.
Always stay healthy.
👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤙👌
I made three runs in 2019 and the salt was pretty tricky and remembered seeing both cars and bikes spinning out. I will say 2023 was much worse and I did crash on my third run.
good shit!! real happy 4 ya boss!! eye really wanna go dis year since im so close.
🤘😎
ralph went out setn records! now das style.
Very well done gentlemen
Nice job!
Jesus... That is some rapid movement across the land
We have the Dry Lake Racers over here that run on Lake Gairdener here in South Australia. I'm sad to say that I've not yet attended or raced!
great vid movie quality
Just watched both ducu-videos! Very nice and well done! See you there I hope! 12 Days
love it guys
Life as art.
Happy your OK Tyler
Anyone know the documentary about the pre 1955 Racer that would leave all rider/racers in the dust? He would be in the pack, leave the road thru an opening in a fence line at race speed, get out in front of all racers, then duck back thru another opening in a fence line and be way out front. Saw the documentary 30 years ago and my jaw is still on the ground. Looking for his name....
Yeah I know what your talking about it was an Elsinore race the dude got a flat and cut his tire off and finished the desert section on the rim . The documentary went thru a few different people but mostly on enduro races, Mx , and circle track right?
“On any Sunday “ I think that’s what it’s called
@@DeadxRamones I saw it in the early/mid 80's, may have had a buzz on. 😉 But I do remember the rim thing. When he went thru the fence opening, they had a cross country type race and he went from a gravel road thru the opening. Thanks, I will be researching....
Hell yeah what a run
RIP my good buddy Ralph.
Congratulations. 👍🏼👍🏼
Congratulations
Good job Tyler!
I would be interested in which "rules" you have imposed on yourself for building the machine. Because I think with carburettors suitable for racing, e.g. Delorto and silencers with the right shape could do a lot more. straightpipes are not exactly predestined to generate power.
Need a little help. What tires would you reccomend, up to 200mph on the salt? We're gonna be there this year running a souped up 883, 16rear, 19front, rookies. Would have been there last year but decided to get life flighted to a trauma center instead. Maiden voyage on the highway didn't turn out well. Got at least one life left and am anxious to see the salt and meet you fellas. Am running Michelin's now rated to 170, any advice would be appreciated, thanks, T
wow I did not realize how bumpy the salt flats are.. how come the the bike is bogging on take off Triumphs are normally quick on take off
It was too rich so it was bogging. Also think may have nicked a valve
I think the gearing is quite high as well right? Kind if like you are taking off in 3rd gear?
Bro. I can hear that thing misfiring off the start.
So when the KTM 495 2 stroke ran 124 MPH back in the day it was obviously a really big deal
for a DirtBike.
Question,What was the purpose of the rope/tassel he wrapped around his wrist and forearm when taking off?
I think it kills the bike if he goes off of it kinda like a a tredmill
Yes if you come separated from the bike in a crash it cuts the engine. Which happened when Tyler went down
@@lowbrowcustoms TY
It cuts the motor if u come off
I would not trust a single tube gooseneck style frame at high speeds...🤔
You dumped it cause you let off the gas you gotta burn through speed wobble glad your alright tho
Ps also the guy wearing just his swimming pants is quicker than you
smart decision, not gunna get a record on bad salt anyway
