I lived in Baldowrie during summer holidays - from Aberdeen - with my Auntie Bella and Uncle Joe Tawse. And went berry picking. In the mid 60's. Joe was a sheep farmer. This video brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for the memory. I loved Baldowrie, Newtyle, Inchture, Coupar Angus and up on the higher ground on the farm you could see Dundee. Beautiful ancient Pictish part of the world.
9.9.2023 picked berries here with my brother Garry Gay!used the money for our school uniforms when we were wee!I used to do your mothers hair for years in Blairgowrie in Leslie Street!
That was clever tying the bucket round your waist. We had small plastic buckets and we hung them round our necks with twine. That's why I preferred the strawberries. All under plastic and picked by foreign students now.

Have you ever sung "The Yellow on the Broom" in your concerts?
Surely theirs a sing in there?
