Even with secular artists it's not the curse words that make a verse spectacular. I've never understood why secular artists felt like they had to curse when they rap. yea you're right, this is more of a reference to 1 Cor 1:4 "For in Him you have been enriched in every way." rather than a contradiction to what Jesus said in Matthew. It's more likely that Jesus was saying blessed are those who are humble in spirit, and through that humility, recognize their need for the Savior. The latter wealth that we receive in Spirit comes from the intimacy and knowledge we have in Christ, and of course, the eternal treasure we store up through the work we do in the earth.
