Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved (Romans 10:13). Pray to Jesus each day. Get a Bible and begin to read 4 chapters daily. You will complete the Bible in a year. Keep repeating this process yearly. You will grow strong in God as you take in His word. The Word of God (The Bible) is the will of God. It will show you how to live, how to come out of sin, how to grow strong in God and please Him. God will help you, in Jesus' name.

Many who profess the faith, such as Mr Wiese have lost the plot. Many comments in this thread show that the powerless creation has more mercy in their hearts than the omnipotent creator they serve. The creation has more mercy than its creator. Sounds utterly absurd to me!!!……. Perhaps there is more to God’s love and mercy than the many with their pre-conceived ideas care to admit. Seek further into the scriptures, and if it's God’s will, you might be pleasantly surprised.

He is right, there are people in Hell right now, it is very clear in the Bible there are people there now. I feel bad anyone is there, I can't wish this on anyone, to spend an eternity in pain and torment every single day. I thank God for His Son Jesus Christ for saving me from Hell, I can't imagine being separated from God. Thank you Jesus, in fact, there is no way I can thank You enough other than giving my soul willingly to You.

As per Matthew 25:31-46, nobody goes to heaven or hell before Jesus comes again to judge the living and dead. Currently, heaven and hell contain only those who are neither living nor dead - that's who are not born ever.

What specifically on their beliefs makes them have a chance of going to hell? If you can explain this please then if it’s clear then I don’t think I’ll even having any beliefs in Catholicism. I feel like I part Protestant and Catholicism.
I know about the doctrinal problems with Catholicism like Purgatory and making Mary their mediator between themselves and God or catholic confession whereby a priest can forgive them of their sins when God is the only one that can forgive our sins as the scriptures tell us. Nonetheless i have seen Catholics that i believe absolutely love God and live good lives morally speaking definitely showing the fruits of the holy spirit when in and around people and in my opinion are saved Christians. I can't see that they are all dammed to Hell although there are many Christians that would disagree with me on that one.

Finally, someone got the story of the rich man and Lazarus right. I have always argued that it wasn't a parable but a true story. However, I also argue that even if it was a parable, all parables used a physical reality to describe a spiritual reality. So, either way you look at it, it is telling a truth of a reality even if they were fictional characters which I do not believe they are because to say so is mere speculation and Jesus would not need to use fictional characters because then it would just be a fictional story without any meaning. Also, Jesus presented it as "there WERE....these two men....and this is what happened."

Those who think the ones who don’t serve the Lord Jesus, soul sleep then are cast into lake of fire. Revelation 20 refutes that. It clearly tells us death and hell gave up the dead that were in them at the White Throne Judgment!
The saddest thing is that even Jesus said that most people are going to hell which is a shame 😢😢. I’m not even guaranteed to go to Heaven as I could be missing out on something which is critical.

We were created of the dust of the earth to which we will return... We were given/lended God's breath of life, which goes back to God.

The translation for 'hell' is, very simply, the grave... Where the dead are interred and PERISH.

Brother Weiss, please clarify. Why Jesus said Lazarus sleeping, the 12 year old girl that died, He said she was sleeping. Another verse “ the dead know nothing “.
@ppus 2031. It was a euphemism. We use them too. Passed away. Passed over. Left us. Went to his reward. Etc. Jesus did not say the dead know nothing. That is Eccl 9:5. There are lots of explanations of this verse on the net. It does not mean that the dead have no consciousness but is rather a comparison of the living verses the dead from the point of view of a non-believer…which is what Eccl. is. David Jeremiah gave the best explanation of Eccl. I have ever heard. God bless you.

Hades is never mentioned in the King James Version of the Bible. It says Hell instead of Hades. Either way believe the gospel and put your faith in the blood of Jesus that washes all of your sins away.

Very convenient how Mr Wiese doesn't quote the beginning of Rev 20:13. In this verse, we see that [both] Hades and the sea give up the dead in them. If Hades is a place of temporal torment for those in a disembodied state, then the parallel must be that the sea is a place of temporal torment for those in a disembodied state. Personally, I don’t think this is the imagery Rev 20:13 is presenting. Therefore, I reason that Hades and the sea are references to earthly and watery graves. What do you say Bill?

It’s not possible to repent or mention to the lord every single sin you’ve ever committed. When you surrender your life and ask the lord to forgive you your sins, he does just that, and at that moment he puts his HolySpirit in you’ and you grow from there as you yield your will to his perfect will for your life.

The first reaurre tion is the rapture of the church. The second death is when you are cast in the lake of fire after the judgement.

Keep a repentful heart before the Lord, we sin everyday maybe not deliberately but the Way the Holy Spirit taught me was keeping my accounts clean with the Lord. I don't want my prayers hindered. I repent for myself everyday and all those I stand in the gap of because I don't want their souls lost to hell. When I am called to pray with others I tell them let's come on God's terms and repent first then we pray. Seen many miracles doing so and also because unless the Holy Spirit show me I don't know what sin they're involved in or what they have done. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you, He goes inside our heart like a duster to clean out the things inside there hindering us if we let Him

I don’t think Hell is in center of earth
Hell, like Heaven, is a spiritual place and as such is not subject to the laws or concepts of space/time. It is possible spirits are being 'collected' and held in both on a 'per event' case - where 'per case event' is the earthly death of the spirit in question. But, it is equally possible that spirits arriving in a realm where there is no physical space or time, as we currently perceive them, may well seem to all arrive at the same instant. In any case absolutely nobody (other than Jesus) is qualified to speak to the matter, and it would be bad scholarship to take his comments in parallels and teaching allegories as teaching what might pass for the physics of the Spirit realm if it were a physical realm.
We to, as Christians need to be constantly confessing and repenting of sin. "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). Be not like the Ephesians in Rev 2 who LEFT their first love...Jesus. You can lose your salvation and be removed from the Book of Life.

Good works, being a good person, is not the answer... NOT through works.. but a free gift... thru Christ Jesus.
Even all of our righteousness are as filthy rags. We have no power to change that.. Nothing can change that... Except CHRIST!!
Even while we are/were yet sinners, Christ came to offer salvation and forgiveness.
WHEN THAT APPOINTED DAY FINALLY COMES... the Lord will take our filthy rags, and place a robe of HIS righteousness upon us.
Similar to the parable of the prodigal son. Who returned from the filthy pigs styes... and his Father came out of the house and rushed down to greet him, calling out... Here is my son!!! Bring the finest robe!
On that appointed day, when the Lord descends from Heaven... those dead, and alive 'in Christ'. will be TRANSFORMED, CHANGED INCORRUPTIBLE. (eternal) as the angels who do not die.... And, their robes/garments will be made as white as snow. AMEN!!!!!

Jesus is God's Son. Jesus was born by the virgin Mary who conceived by God. Jesus never sinned. Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of the world. Jesus's blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus was entombed for three days. Jesus was raised from the dead by God. Jesus left the tomb empty. Jesus was seen, heard, and touched by witnesses who said Jesus is alive. Jesus ascended to heaven. Jesus will return to the earth. Jesus is Lord. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God has raised Jesus from the dead you shall be saved. Any one who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that any one who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God is Love. Eternal life is knowing God forever. To know more about Jesus read the New Testament in the Bible. IF we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
