I was busy sewing but it’s so nice hearing you describing everything, when you mentioned the statues I quickly took a look to see if there was some that I know and appreciate, like Alexander Pushkin, Ilya Repin or Dmitri Shostakovich. I also enjoyed seeing those cute seniors playing a game. One of them even brought a white tablecloth to cover the table! 😊 I also enjoyed looking at the well kept greenery such those hosta plants. This is NOT a russian typical park. And keep in mind that Moscow, especially the downtown area are nothing like any other part of Russia. Take a ride for at least 100 miles from Moscow and you'll see what's typical for Russia and how an average russian person lives
