When I first watched The Haunting of Bly Manor I found lot of similarities with Imagine Me and You but then in one of the Netflix interview director E. L. Katz told that she was indeed inspired by Imagine Me and You and hence she wanted to focus on the story of Jamie and Dani and tell what pain they have gone through. I really like this video which has incorporated all the good aspects of both the series and the movie. Thanks to the creator.
