Yes that’s Melissa Bonny doing the growling alright. Another rabbit hole. Melissa has a great voice and such a beautiful young woman. She also features in so many other bands songs but this is her group Ad Infinitum. She also has a collaboration band, Dark Side of the Moon, made up of members of Feuerschwanz (lead guitarist and harpist) and Amaranthe (drummer). Well worth a watch as well. ❤️🤘🎸🎻🇦🇺
That’s the amazing Melissa Bonny, she has her band Ad Infinitum, she was also in another band that combines metal with drum and bass and dance, called Rage Of Light. She is also in a collaborative project called The Dark Side Of The Moon. On top of all this she has done guest vocals for Warkings and Feuerschwanz. Her vocal range is incredible, she can go from haunting melancholy tones to harsh growls in a heartbeat. I recommend checking out the video for Feuerschwanz doing a song called Warriors Of The World. It’s a cover of a Manowar song and it includes the 2 vocalists of Feuerschwanz, plus Melissa Bonny, Thomas Winkler aka Angus McFife from Gloryhammer, now in his new band Angus McSix, and also Alea der Bescheidene who is the singer of German medieval metal band Saltatio Mortis. This song is a great way to open you up to all these vocalists. 🤘🏻🙂
They are a Swiss/German band. Lead singer Melissa Bonny is Swiss, but the guys are from Germany. She started this as a solo project in 2018, and it was turned into a full band the following year. Their 3rd album just came out this year. She does some harsh vocals in addition to her awesome cleans.
Melissa is a great vocalist. Apart from Ad Infinitum and The Dark Side Of The Moon, you can hear her on a lot of collaborations but I highly recommend: Feuerschwanz - Ding & Warriors of the world united Warkings: Sparta For Ad Infinitum I recommend: Upside Down, Somewhere Better, Marching On Versailles, See You In Hell, Afterlife, From The Ashes & Eternal Rains For The Dark Side Of The Moon: Legends Never Die, May It Be, First Light, Double Trouble & Jenny of old stones Rage of light - Twilight of the Thundergod (This is her old band)
Melissa Bonny has one of the most amazing voices in the genre and yes, she has a MEGA clean voice and growls herself too! Here are a few suggestions for Symphonic Metal: XANDRIA - THE WONDERS STILL AWAITING, DELAIN - BENEATH, AD INFINITUM feat Nils Molin (Amaranthe) - AFTERLIFE, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - LEGENDS NEVER DIE, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS - MASTER THE HURRICANE !!! Have fun ;-)
Hi, Andrei and Dominika! I watch a lot of your reactions, although I don't often react myself. I gotta say, please DON'T apologize for just being yourselves. You two make such a lovely couple and I absolutely LOVE your reactions AND the chemistry between the two of you. I also love your humor. So, if either one of you or both of you are in like a goofy, giggly, chuckilingly mood, don't apologize for it. It's just you guys showing up for the day in the way you are. About the song, I absolutely love the vibe! I don't like all symphonic metal, I'm very picky but this I like. I don't like it to be too bombastic or too shallow, orchestration wise. But this has one has got the right balance for me. On top of that, her voice keeps me from having straying thoughts, you just wanna keep listening. So, yeah, I enjoyed it. I like to finish off by saying, I know what was in your coffee: Swiss Alps Milk! 😂 (I'm in the same mood as you guys) Keep being you! Cheers!✌
Additionally to the comments about Melissa here is some information about the guitar from Adrian Thessenvitz: It's an 8-string Strandberg (normally guitars does have 6 strings): ua-cam.com/video/JIRC-glGD7E/v-deo.html This instrument is an absolute beast and not-so-easy to play ;-)

Melissas growls layered on her cleans are beautiful! They bring a powerful flavor to symphonic metal.

The line was,
"I'm not in danger, i'm the danger"
1/9 of the screen for the actual artist ?
