    Yes I realize they are logging data sometimes!! But that time he wasn't doing anything and just sat there. But it's all good! JW just let him Know he's a true athlete. He can catch them in both hands. 😅😅💪💪
    It just adds more pressure to have to swap sides with the way you normally grab them and bring them in the boat. Makes you versatile. Change ups sometimes teach you something new and better also. Change is good. Won't let you get stuck in that same ol way rut.

    I have your complete series of baitcasting, and spinning, rods, and they are awesome. But, it would also be awesome if your line included a 7-2 medium power, fast action, for light, to medium, weight top water lures, such as the small yellow magic.

    It was awesome for me and my family to meet you at Cayuga! What was your set up for cranking rod reel and line leader.... also was it different between the DT sizes? I see I need to throw more DTs on Cayuga but never feel comfortable with my setup.

      No leader line on a crank bait just 14lb or 16lb 7’3” or 7’6”

      Absolutely but you need to go to a shallower diver. DT 10 is juice in Florida

    Hey Jacob great job, I am a giant fan, I am kind of a local at Cayuga lake and I was wondering if you can help me out deep cranking. I am wondering what your doing or seeing when your cranking especially over grass, I am also curious what depth you where fishing with the Dt14 and 16. Deep cranking is one technique I am not super proficient in and watching you slay them on my lake really has me excited. Thanks good luck the rest of the season.

      Man it’s all about figuring it out on your own and being able to replicate the patterns and techniques more so than be able to go out and fish the same spot. Fish move quite a bit too day to day even so it may not always be the best bet to go fish history, definitely someone else’s history.

    When you first arrive at a lake and practice on a spot like this, did you first map it and start scoping, or notice other anglers on it, or get a tip months ago? Ive often wondered how pros manage to find a giant school of bass like this.

      Fished it previously and then pre-fished it. As soon as we know about an event there is a no information rule from anyone outside the competition at all.

      Yes for right now. I do use 6lb 832 as well when I’m skipping docks because it’s a little more abrasion resistant than the nano

    Does this guy actually use those cheap academy rods with his name on them or do they get high quality rods made to look like their signature rods? I always wondered about that with these pros. I’m not buying they use their own rods when they can have so much better. Lol. Unless they get sponsor bonuses for using them so they just suck it up
