@@entertainmentchanneloz1509 nothing wrong just got high kms, I rebuild nearly everything and it doesn't look good to have high kms when I drive so I thought if I can replace with a low kms cluster
@@gurvanshvirk8834 As far as I am aware, the ECU will know that a different cluster has been installed, and will log a error code, and from what I can understand, that maybe why you have trouble starting it, my only advise is if it starts with the old cluster maybe just replace the k's display panel from one to the other ? or go to this page on facebook who are good with clusters: facebook.com/clustermods.au/
If you want the police logo to come up every time you turn the ignition on, take the key out, lock the doors with the fob, unlock then turn ignition back on again.
Hi I need some help with my fg. 2 days ago I went to start the car and it came up with immobiliser then commn failer, 5 mins later it started. Today it did the same thing and I walked away half an hour later it started. 2 months ago I got given a fg xr6 cluster I fitted it and my car went straight onto immobiliser. I put my original one back in 2 months later its doing this problem. Is my cluster playing up? Thanks
All i can say is a car will work without an instrument cluster, the instruments display important info but doesn't affect a car's electrical and mechanical systems.
Yo so I've had a issue , my indicator left hand side won't turn of , did some research and is the cluster causing the issue so today went and got a buddy's one and put it in of a g6e turbo , mines a fg. Well it fixed it my indicator no longer stays on but it is immobilized won't start , swaped back to original fg cluser car starts but indicator won't shut of left hand side. Side note the indicator comes on when key is in acc position and is only left hand side . All the indicator lights work fine it just won't shut of any ideas
usually caused by wear in the cancelling peg attached to the inner moving column shaft or indicator stalk i would be looking at myself, not so much the cluster
@@entertainmentchanneloz1509 I had a whole spare drive shaft and steering wheel , took the indicators of and connected them up and still having the same issue , went and got a new cluster plugged it in solved the issue but also is immobilized so of to get it programed on the 1st
Hey mate I just replaced my fg xr6 instrument cluster same like you but car isn't starting, it showing vehicle immobilised, what should I do??
maybe check your battery on the key fob?

Why do you need to take the cluster out to get Police mode? All you need is Forscan and enable police mode in the cluster while still in the vehicle.
