I am Brazilian and most of our beef comes from the midwest states. The northernmost states like Amazonas and Pará are mostly soy plantations. This video does not reflect the reality of the cattle industry in our country.

Most cattle in Brazil are raised on feed lots not fields and fed not on grass but cattle cake
Cows cannot live purely on cake. They need forage as well otherwise they would be missing a lot of nutrition

@@joefabulous6989 Yeah, pretty cruel over there. Reason they do it will be that the cattle are moving less since walking a lot burns energy which in turn is fat. By having the feed bought to them, they don't walk far so is a more efficient process of fattening cows.

Just to make clear, British agriculture has some of the highest welfare standards. We don't treat our animals like they do on this video. All farmers care deeply for the animals they tend for, as its only right that the animals live a happy and healthy life before they are entered onto the meat chain.

We love and care for our animals, yes we do use them for produce but it's in our benefit to look after them right. Not only just the moral implication I mentioned above, but also healthy animals are the most productive. We want our cows to be as happy and healthy as possible. What you also have to remember is that video is made as vegan propiganda. There are many things which non farmers simply do not understand or it seems bad from the outside world
I'm very angry at that stupid king who gifted Brazil Indian cows. Especially when cows are so sacred in Indian culture. Those are Bos Indicus cows and not Bos Taurus like the rest of world.
