“UNSTAINED - Pure & Undefiled - Part Three” - tells the story of one church in a fishing village in Cambodia, pastored by HeartCry missionary Kien Proom. This dark region of Cambodia is dominated by Buddhism, and most people worship idols in pagan temples. But through the evangelism of Pastor Kien, many people are turning from their idolatry and coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In the midst of a crooked generation, the true gospel is spreading and winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

Praise the Lord! I live in America. At the age of 57 I was radically saved from Kriya Kundalini Yoga. Now I am almost 80. Have been supporting HeartCry since around 2008. There is no hope except in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I burned up my prayer beads and new age Eastern religion books. My main focus was mantras which I turned into a prayer discipline of getting up early and calling on the name of Jesus, seeking God's face, and praying in the Holy ghost. About 5 years after my conversion I began to read scripture seriously and then my faith and knowledge of Christ grew exponentially. Jesus is the Word of God! Don't ever stop reading and breathing scripture! I give all the glory to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior!!

KJV As Paul admonishes the Saints to walk in the Spirit in Romans 8:1-16 so pray, call on the name of the Lord, seek His face, sing hymns and psalms and so on until you come into the presence of God and then be refreshed in God's peace and rest and the joy of the Lord! The Holy Spirit will join in with you in your prayer/worship and bring it to another level a spiritual level!

I'm so touched by this video. Even though I'm not from Cambodia, my country (Vietnam) has similar traditions of idolatry. The majority of Vietnamese would identify themselves as Buddhists, and almost every home has several altars for different gods. One thing that has always fascinated me is both how much and how little they revere these idols. When they want to set up an altar for a particular god, they don't just simply mount it on the wall or whatever; they need to have some "welcome" rituals as a way to show respect and reverence for the god. But they will keep on sinning, because deep within them, these gods are nothing but only there to grant their wishes and blessings. But if someone shows disrespect to these gods, intentional or not, they often will be reprimanded. It's also a community thing, so no one really talks badly about the idols to other people bc they might get shunned. Therefore, it was extremely POWERFUL for our brother to burn his idol's altar PUBLICLY. That's definitely a risk and a sure way to be alienated by the people around him. God bless his family.
Indeed, it is the same in Thailand. Amazing how Brahmanism and Buddhism can coexist despite supposedly being the complete opposite in ideology. The former teaches that blessings come by devotion to the gods, but the latter teaches that one makes one's own good karma and that one may ascend to buddhahood through enough good deeds--and not to rely on any gods. Yet, often with the average Thai person it is just "anything goes" really. Buddhists here will readily worship an idol of a Brahma on the street while worshiping their own Buddha statue at home. Truly, these false gods are not jealous gods.
Praise the Lord. This documentary has stirred my heart. Cambodia is where my parents are from. They prayed for my salvation. So thankful for faithful evangelists.

It suddenly reminded me of that ancient wooden buddha statue in the house of my parents that’s been there since I was a child. A few years ago without telling them I smashed it and threw the pieces from a bridge in the river. 😏

As poor as they obviously are this man of faith decided to burn these worthless idols, (Acts 14:15), in front of everyone as a declaration of faith, so beautiful and touching. Especially when you realize instead of burning them he could have sold them for enough to feed and cloth his family for a little while. Instead of that and selling these what we know to be worthless idols, (Lev 19:4, 1 Chr 16:26, Psa 96:5, Isa 31:7, Jer 14:22, Zec 13:2 and many more), to someone else, letting them cause more sin, he decided to destroy them in a very public display of faith. For him and where he is this is close to the same as being baptized out in public in the early church, a declaration of faith that can not be denied and that all would see. I pray our Lord continues to watch over and bless this man and his family as he's an example to all around him,(2 Cor 5:20). As are all you've shown in this documentary, such heartfelt stories of faith. I'm not sure what to say if believers watching this are not encouraged and feel their hearts touched by it I'm at a loss. I also pray for these people in areas of the world such as this that their eyes, ears and hearts be opened to the truth of the Gospel and the Spirit of Grace, (Holy Spirit), that is freely and lovingly given to us by our God and Father thru His Son Jesus Christ. Our Lord is the One and only true Living God, (Deu 6:4, Jeremiah 10:10, Mathew 16:16, John 6:69, Acts 14:15, Heb 10:31) and as for us, we are all ambassadors of Christ, His representatives, (2 Cor 5:20), as we boldly stand in Him because He is able to make us stand, (Rom 14:4). That verse and many others come to mind as I watch these our brothers and sisters in Christ in a place and time of much trial and tribulation. As good as we have it here in the US and Western World, (which is rapidly changing), it is often easy to forget just how far and wide Satan's grip and deceptions have spread on this fallen world. Documentaries and teachings such as this one are a sobering reminder of our need to be spreading the Good News, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as far and wide as possible. Planting the seeds only God can cause to grow and preparing to be sent into His harvest, (Mat 9:8, Luke 10:2).
