There's so much in game that I don't bother with. Mulching, Weeds, stones, rolling....I don't care about any of this stuff. For my gameplay the 2% increase in yield is not at all worth the time it takes. Of course if I don't have to do anything but harvest that makes the choice easy!

As far as ive seen the mulching state is only on the parts of the field where your harvester throws the tailings on the ground. The green bean harvester only throws tailings out on the 2 sides thats why it gives you the strips.

That’s what I noticed too. I was pretty confused at first.

the bean and pea harvesters have different drop points for their 'chaff'
spinach doesn't mulch on harvest because it's a forage crop like grass, you're collecting all the vegitation and there's no winnowing or threshing involved

I mean, the idea behind mulching is that you're putting down a layer of chopped up organic matter on the soil, which is then later plowed under, acting as a sort of natural fertilizer. Grain combines are made with spreader units on the back, which can either be engaged to scatter the straw all over the field, providing that organic layer, or disengaged, leaving it all in a pile for later use, at the expense of that layer it would otherwise provide.
What would also be good the check, is can you leave a straw swath on the grain crops, pick it up, then go back after to mulch whatever plant stubble remains to get both the straw for bailing AND the mulching state?

From my current game, yes, it appears you can

Any crop that throws chopped straw out the rear of the combine should be doing that but that is not in the mechanics.
Certain crops ie canola, mustard you don’t bail the straw because the straw is too course and cattle don’t like it. ( I could be wrong but cattle can’t eat certain straw types because it could possibly harm them). I do believe you could bail canola straw but it would only be good for burning.

Canola never produced straw unless you used a mod in 22 to get straw for Canola and other crops. So why would that be different in 25?

@@jollyrogerhobbies2386 it was an error on my part. I saw it in the XMLs when I had early access. Thought Giants added another crop to produce straw to help improve its overall revenue and bring it in line with other crops.

Does the grassland roller mulch grass? Or maybe a regular roller?

Hopefully mulching doesn't affect harvesting contracts like it did in fs22

I'm sure I've seen a video that says you loose yield when the harvester mulches

I really appreciate your efforts! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
