I couldn’t agree more. All of this tech has subverted some very fundamental aspects of society and humanity. We have access to anyone at our fingertips at any time, yet somehow we are more lonely and it seems so much harder to connect in meaningful ways. I would gladly go back to having a rotary phone and no internet. 😂

So many singers from the 80s don't get the recognition they deserve. They didn't need autotune or props. They had raw talent. HOw times have changed. It was great growing up during this era. Positive vibes

Some of us are lucky enough to have lived during that time and understand that the dream of that time is so much more ellusive than anything worth desiring today. Today most artists aren't willing to allow for any sense of true emotionality and longing. It's out there. But definitely not mainstream like it was then. It's like trying to catch the wind.

Every decade has their problems but life before the internet, social media and the god damn phones was REAL. Face to face human interactions. Creativity was at its best in the 80s. Honestly, I think The Human League was way ahead of their time, and greatly underappreciated. I mean, they had some iconic, iconic songs. Moments of brilliance. The sound, look, writing were incredible.
