They are made by PANArt Hangbau AG in Switzerland but they have stopped making them until a new version is produced (some time in 2013). Even then it is very difficult to obtain one, you need to effectively attend an interview in Switzerland. They treat each drum as a work of art and therefore there is no mass production. :( - there was one on ebay today for £12,000 lol !!!
Hi! how and where can you get one from? I mean, I understood you have to write a letter to the people who is making them, and after few months you´ll get an asnwer, positive or negative, is it like that? or how can you get one? thanks!
And now the question that has been on my lips for ages; HOW DO YOU GET ONE!? It's an amazing instrument, I'm completely in love, but I cannot find any place to buy them! I saw a few on ebay for 10.000 euro's, but I am a relatively not rich student (though with some funding from my parents :)) and that is WAY, WAY WAY out of my league. Can't I buy one for 500 euros or something? That would be much better... damn! Why are all awesome things so inacessible!
Dammit :( I am really in love with this instrument, and I would dream to play one... I never expected it to be SO exepensive and difficult... *sigh* Dream lost. :(
I play a pretty mean khaen :D I'm on Phuket. I know, I know. But s'long as you keep away from the godawful expat brigade here and the nice smiley locals know you, so you don't get ripped off, has everything I need for easy living. Except art, theatre and ... real PUBS!
I'm on Phuket and a FARANG :D Yes I know of the Zeitgeist Movement, but if you've been here a while, you'd know that it's unlikely a chapter exists here. Apathy roolz :D Try Google :)
Never thought I'd hear both Hang and an accordion together. I love it! :D
This is amazing, it really is relaxing and it just takes you away.
I've played the wind instrument there and I love it.
Awesome! i want more!

Beautiful instrument! (I am 17 years old)
Before your hands can master the sound of the hang, your dreds must first master the art of the hang.
I WANNA HEAR THAT!!!!
Шедеврально!
I think hang music should be picked up by Cirque Du Soleil! This piece would be soooo fitting for an incredible Cirque act
