I love his duets! He is very careful to not drastically overshadow when singing with others. He still does his amazing solo parts we expect but allows the other singers their moments as well. Such an amazing artist and beautiful soul. ❤

Thanks for bringing up that song I hadn't heard with Dimash before...I appreciate your appreciation of him! He's always in my heart, some song running through my mind, and there's something about the vibration of his voice that lifts me up, no matter how sad the song is! The timbre and cry in his voice opens my heart and make me realize how deeply we love, as humans--the magnificence of the human heart. I have grown to love the Chinese and Russian cultures through his music, that are so much more real and heartfelt about the beauty of life, of nature, of jasmine flowers, the love between friends, (thousands of miles) etc. He's actually inspired me to be a better person--due to his spiritual qualities, big heartedness, especially his amazing efforts to promote peace in the world. I have to admit, one of my favorite things to do is watch Dimash reaction videos, for all I have learned from musicians about his voice, songs, stage setups, music video's, and it's so fun to see others enjoy their experience of Dimash. To me, he's the "new normal" as he's raising the bar, inspiring us to greatness, and being a great human being! I've watched a number of your videos and really love your expert perspectives! Us "dears" are family...I believe we're uniting the world through connecting with the love we have for him that permeates our lives, IMHO! 💖

Yes, I enjoyed it! I hadn't seen this song before. Very lovely! I listened to your song that you mentioned. I'll tell you what Dimash-like things I saw. I saw singing with your hand, I heard a lovely wordless bit in the middle and at the end. I heard sudden high notes and little riffs and runs. Some of those things may have been things you already did before Dimash, but those were just the similarities I noticed.

I hear them sing but I can't hear his tone to be an octave jump.. he changes his register and sings the higher note but isn't ot only less than one octave higher? maybe you could have played them on the piano to clearify what you hear? Beautiful duet anyway!

I throughly enjoyed your breakdown of Dimash duet. Like you I have listened to most of his performances but new ones keep cropping up. I would like to see you presenting more Dimash and other singers, you have a wonderful way of describing music to even the most unknowable of how artists arrive at singing songs.
As for yourself, I have listened to a couple of your videos. Je Suis Malade, pyjamas also were beautiful. People don't realise how to show the empathy of the lyrics. This is not a problem for you and there is very little sign of ADHD!

I could be wrong, but based on a couple of places where the voices don't match the lips, I think it's more likely the vocals were pre-recorded. It doesn't matter though - it doesn't take anything away from their brilliant performances.

A real, spontaneous response - I love it. There is nothing more beautiful than listening to someone with passion. BTW. I did not know this performance, although in my Dimash collection there are also a few little-seen gems.
But there's another alien I admire for his "light voice": Zhuo Shen. If you don't know this artist - in my humble opinion, it's also worth getting to know. He enchanted me with this performance ua-cam.com/video/T-VpijW6qtI/v-deo.html (which disappeared from UA-cam for years - copyright - but returned on this channel) and somehow it's not easy to find it.
